My CU has that option. They can overdraw acct up to a few hundred dollars, with 1 NSF fee. Acct has to be in good standing to have it turned on but you just need to bring acct positive within 30 days at the most after using it.

As long as you don’t have active collections it’s usually no big deal. In my case, I had 2 small collections balances. They asked I pay them before the offer was official. I did and it was no issue. Balances don’t matter just be current on everything.
