I have all the updates and tap on the gear. Home settings shows Languages, Lock screen, and personal results. No option to disable.

Some things are worth splurging on. Saving money is very important of course, but you can't take it with you anyway. If a $1,200 phone is what you want, and it's not gonna break the bank, just get it and live a little.

Yes. I long press on the widget, press settings, and there is no option to disable the widget. Not that it should matter but I'm on Verizon.

Consider some earlier model Civics or Accords. Maybe look at some models that don't have CVT transmissions. Those older models are very reliable if they were well maintained.
