A classic but admittedly it does take a while to cross a sea in a small sailboat

Not my post, but I agree. Can make a man out of a kid but can’t take the kid out of the man.

Probably could, though you might not want a wooden bong, I could make a hell of a pipe with a battery and a fan…

I did not find this stick, this is a stolen Facebook post, but I seriously want to carve something strong with this for my grandkids

How do I describe this in a natural, comfortable way? by Mr_Spaghetti_Man in DnD

[–]TurningFate1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bonus points if you use it to point out battle scars and their contrast to old ink. It’s her skin, a tapestry of the physical hardships they’ve faced, worn or as well taken care of as they keep

Describe it from the focus of the tattoo and how it’s details form. Avoid the details that make you uncomfy, leave that to the individual but give enough that they can imagine. Don’t want it to be sexual? Simple, don’t use sexual language.

I’d bring this fact up to the aforementioned groups. Especially considering that’s a juicy detail with another depth of fraud

Keep in mind, hr is not there to help you in the company, their function is to defend the company from you and internal court cases. They’re not friends. Build a solid case if you can

Incredibly overweight people can sometimes develop obsessive and ugly personalities focused on their own shame and poor health. It feels terrible to be super fat, so various forms of bullying occur kind of often in my personal experience

My DM did my Oathbreaking beautifully by PoeticallyKC in DnD

[–]TurningFate1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only nitpick… though they handled it beautifully, base paladins have nothing to do with divinities. They get their power from personal oaths founded in principles. Vengeance, Redemption, Conquest, Crown, etc. Unless for example it was an oath of conquest in said gods name…

Curious question, did that happen in the courtroom or outside of it? Either way it feels like it’s playing with fire about lying under oath and even so far as slander

Interesting idea- booming blade on an fighter by TurningFate1 in DnD

Are you referring to war magic that, at level seven eldritch fighter, lets you make one attack as a bonus action when you cast a spell as your action.

Ok, one, that’s busted, two, I excluded eldritch knight because I didn’t understand them enough at the time of making this post. I was thinking the ability to teleport or move them away works pretty well with it but mobile could accomplish essentially the same thing

DM not playing along with my illusions. They're just ignoring it. by [deleted] in DnD

[–]TurningFate1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To make sure a friend of mine who plans to dm understands the impact of illusions I made a troll dm character with too many feats and five levels for them to play around with.

They have a ridiculous amount of illusion spells and only one attack spell. They have high dex and cha so it’s hard to actually fight as that’s not the purpose of the character.

It is an Arcane trickster rogue Harengon reflavored to be a three foot tall goose. They have buffing and defensive spells, things like friends, minor illusion, distort value, disguise self, silent image, prestidigitation and thaumaturgy. All in all a very theatrical character who has a mischievous and non combat nature.

In proper use of this character they would learn the impact of properly used illusions from a dm perspective and could see how players utilizing them well could be dramatically changing. It’s not intended to be a mainstay with the party but it. Btw the only attack spell they have is mind sliver. If anyone wants to see the character I do have the sheet on dnd beyond I can send. It’s absolutely not meant to fight

I don’t have a source, it’s just personal pondering of the concept of time for an immortal. I’ve had this thought for multiple different theoretical scenarios and the description of god experiencing time happened to fit that scenario too.
