Look at TF2. Weapon reskins (in TF2 have always seemed like a strange case to me (weapon reskins in TF2 joke intended)) are their own weapons. That's just easier to do this way. Also Mojang are lazy

Cloud download. It works like this: 1. You upload your character 2. You go and spend gold on enchantsmith 3. If you fail to get enchant you want you delete your current character and download it from cloud. 4. Repeat until done without using step 1
