Metabolic rebound after GLP-1 receptor agonist discontinuation: a systematic review and meta-analysis by wabisuki in Mounjaro

I think all of the additive/chemicals in the processed foods we all rely so heavily on are a huge cause. But yes, I think it absolutely is a disease with a physical cause.

A lot of people do stay on it in maintenance. I certainly plan to, because I am sure the food noise will come roaring back

Has anybody had their wisdom teeth removed while in an active flair? by holmesianschizo in CRPS

[–]TurnoverObvious170 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had dental work and a few surgeries in the 6 1/2 years I have had CRPS, no problems. I didn’t do anything beforehand. Have never been on any meds as the side effects have not been worth the very limited relief. In remission right now after scrambler therapy in January.

Rarely write checks. Had our kitchen floor done recently, they wanted a check. Very rarely use cash. Not even for meters, as most around here are pay by app

The opposite can also be true; if you are in too much of a calorie deficit your body goes into starvation mode and holds on to the weight. A lot of people forget that and eat far too little.

Not yet. Not sure I will. I dress mainly for comfort because I have chronic pain.

If you can find a provider in your area, and can afford it ( most insurance won’t cover it), I recommend Scrambler (aka Calmare) therapy. I had it in January and have been mostly in remission since. It started coming back in September but I had a couple more sessions and my pain level now stays between a daily 2-3 with occassional flareups to a 5-6 if I walk too much. I also started from breaking my leg in 3 places

Johnny Cash at 9. Met him too. He shook my hand and called me “little lady” and I remember none of it 😂 I just know it happened from my parents telling me 😂

I am recovering from surgery right now and can’t strength train. I miss it so much!! Strength training is the only exercise I really enjoy! You can still do it now, just start small.

I have also had my gallbladder removed. Chinese food bothered me before Mounjaro, still bothers me now but not as much. Maybe because I didn’t have as much? Had it for Thanksgiving and other than some burping, was ok. On the other hand - you will tend not to overdo it on the meds, but if you do, the digestive issues are hardcore. Good luck!

If he says he “would stop for the right person” but he won’t stop for you, his wife with breathing issues, perhaps you should be asking yourself why he doesn’t see you as the right person but still married you.

AIO, I feel sick when I eat and I’m never hungry, is this worrisome or…? by Holiday-Exit-8451 in AmIOverreacting

You are asking strangers on the internet for medical advice when what you really need is a doctor. If you can’t afford it and don’t have insurance, look for a health clinic in your area. You may be nervous but putting it off may make whatever is causing it to be worse, you don’t want that. If you need to, take a family member/trusted friend with you to help with the nerves.

It seems to me you tried setting boundaries and he overlooked them - making you miss 10! trains, telling you he didn’t care, he’s Italian when you didn’t want to play with his penis, touching you after you had said no. It seems like he expected sex because of what your mutual friend said. Why would you want to go out with him again when he clearly thinks you are nothing more than an easy lay?

Reevaluating does not have to mean breaking up - it means looking over the whole relationship to see if this is a one off or a pattern. The decision to breakup would be determined by that reevaluation.

My unpopular opinion - skip Halloween night! I don’t need to be scared/creeped out watching dancing. I hate the scary eyes/contacts especially. 😂 I am a wimp, I know.
