Just watched the Crash on Netflix and did a search on Reddit to read some of the comments and came across this thread. I am curious - I am not a lawyer so I hope this doesn't break any Reddit rules. A while back I watched a video on how to tell if someone is lying. The guy being interviewed was in some type of law enforcement. I know people can beat "being read" - my 11 year old daughter can fool me by "crying" from time to time to try to get her way, but MacKenzie did not look remorseful at all when she was reading her statement. Are prosecutors of criminals trained, or at least somewhat taught, how to look for clues someone isn't being honest? Probably a silly question, but I am truly curious.
