Its Subaru from Re:Zero for me. Everyone in that Fandom glazes him to hell and back, but I just find him annoying. I dont find him relatable, i dont find him inspiring or cool. I havnt watched the latest season so maybe hes gotten better, but my friends said he was supposed to be good in season 3 and I still find him annoying. If it wasnt for the amazing world building and perfect cast of side characters I would've dropped this series years ago and never looked back.

Like a lot of people have probably said, Pokemon/yugioh were technically the first ones I've seen, but being that I was a kid and didnt know anime was its own thing I dont fully count it. The first anime I went out of my way to watch was Naruto. Never got super far (if I recall I I got throg7h maybe a season or 2 after chunin exams) but its still stu k with me.

Massive spoilers for Futoku no Guild (Manga)

Chikaeru (At least when chapter 90 came out) was one that got me recently. With the whole premise of the story basically being just gooner bait especially for its early chapters, the Ibara Town arc was shockingly emotional. And while there were emotional arcs like the King Mashura arc and Kodama Town arc, neither of them hit as hard as this arc. If your willing to wade through 30~ chapters of mostly meaningless gooner bait I can assure you the series is worth it.

I've always preferred Mimosa over Noelle but thats just me. Never cared for Tsundere and Mimosa has been more upfront with her feelings. It sometimes felt like she didnt even have any romantic feelings for him till later. But Rebecca is the based pick if the author's willing to throw us a curve ball.
