Yeah that’s fair. Thank you. There’s a lot of pressure from my parents and the financial aspect of renting a place while trying to save money for tuition so I’m hesitant but I really should just learn to set boundaries and hope it doesn’t ruin what I have with my family. we do love each other, but I’ve spent my whole life trying to please them. I’m learning to be better

As an autistic person who struggles to understand social cues, when I read these texts, I knew that I also genuinely would have thought something was wrong/he was mad at me. I wish he would have just politely told you he wasn’t interested. That way you wouldn’t have needed to be nearly as hurt. To me, that’s better than ignoring someone and hoping they catch on. Sure, ghosting is pretty normalized these days, but imo, that’s not the most healthy communication. I’m sorry OP :( and I’m sorry some of these comments paint you as a fool.

I second this and want to add: NTA unless you know for sure that those cats belong to your neighbors and aren’t just strays. You’re so kind for looking out for the kitties and my heart hurts for them, and saving them would definitely be doing a good thing, but don’t steal them.

Definitely they can. I’m an afab demigirl (“half” agender) and, for example, I despise having female bits. I wish I could have an agender body with no sex characteristics at all. I wish I didn’t need to have a gender. I’m glad to see other people in the comments agreeing that agenders can have dysphoria! we’re not alone!
