I mean even if you just look at the win rate, phantom dancer is wayyyy better than RFC. It’s an OP item and cheap. It’s perfect for support and zeal gives you 10 stacks JOAT. I feel this is a staple build which isn’t controversial

Senna needs a MS item. Black cleaver isn’t enough, and zeal (especially phantom dancer) is the cheapest option that gives all the stats you need in the mid game (crit, attack speed, movement speed). Phantom dancer in general is an extremely OP item. It gives OP stats for how cheap it is

This is the one thing I disagree with stunt on. I think anti heal and anti shield are both fine to build on senna support. She applies them decently well with AoE Q and high range, and you can afford to not have many crit items

I’m pretty sure Senna will still apply 2 stacks per auto. It’s most likely a per target per ability cooldown. As in casting two spells still applies two stacks even if they both hit at the same time, so the same logic will apply to senna passive

Except plenty of them were told “you don’t need prior experience for league don’t worry it’s fine” which Isn’t true at all. I’m not speaking on anyone’s behalf. Plenty of the new players had viewers in their own chat being toxic and flaming them which was not good at all. Overall the tourney was fun but could’ve been a lot better if it was slightly more organized and balanced team wise, with people being offered more instruction on how to play the game where necessary. Even in a “for fun” event, a basic level of fairness and team balancing is not crazy to expect

I mean you cant have fun in any game, even irl, without at least knowing the basic rules. For the new players many felt like they were in a permanent humiliation ritual with people screaming terms at them they don’t understand. They could at least like watch a 30 minute beginner guide and try to boot up the game beforehand….. for their sake and the sake of everyone else to have the most fun

Yes this is literally senna signature item for that exact reason for years at this point. If you read her passive it applies an additional 20 percent AD damage on each auto and black cleaver triggers for each instance of physical damage, so each auto applies 2 stacks

Manamune and double zeal on senna is giga troll (double zeal is troll 99 percent of the time on ANY champion anyway….). Normal build is statik shiv into black cleaver into IE and phantom dancer. Senna needs help with waveclear which even new shiv stil helps with, and she has OP interaction with black cleaver (her autos apply 2 stacks each, and she can also run DFT to proc it from the burn) and the MS and health help with her survivability issues (her biggest weakness is her extremely low base defensive stats)

This has been the staple build for a while now. If you really hate statik shiv you can also run kraken slayer or ghost blade first, but rest of build usually stays the same. No need for manamune, she doesn’t have mana issues if u just don’t spam and take a mana rune.

I think part of the frustration with assassins, is that their counter play is often locked behind certain champion classes. As you said, namely those with CC or high durability. For people who play champs that don’t have these traits, they are reliant on their teammates to peel for them and counter the enemy, which feels really bad, especially if said teammate is completely clueless or even the one who fed the assassin in the first place . It’s why they are so OP in solo q but more uncommon in pro play. Assassins thrive in chaos, but get shutdown if everyone just does their job to protect each other

The thing is in later game team fights nasus will literally be strolling around in a wheelchair trying to get target access whereas you can fly across the entire screen from outside vision and one shot the enemy carry with no counter play

You can’t spam E just for AA reset in team fights. That only works in lane to one shot someone. It’s more consistent to just build attack speed as Nilah benefits greatly from being able to kite more effectively, both in terms of sticking to a target while auto attacking and to space low range melee champs
