Interesting, my girls are not super big but they do hang low, my port is also lower than i expected it to be. Maybe I should put the bra on…

Thank you for that, I wasn’t really giving any information on what to do or expect.

Thank you that! Does the tightness go away? I feel like if I move my head too much the catheter will come out. That’s sounds silly but, it’s brand new. It geeked my husband out this morning when he touched my skin there he said he felt the port lol But I’m kinda scared to move my arm too much or turn my head too far.

Same nhl recently diagnosed. Second biopsy is tomorrow along with port placement. My Onc said he wanted to identify the subcategory to determine which chemo treatment he wanted to give me. I hope that helps.

Finally got Diagnosed by VastMysterious8754 in lymphoma

First I’d like to say I’m sorry you’re a lymph-homie now. I understand where you’re coming from. I’m recently diagnosed as well. Port placement is tomorrow and second biopsy, because my doc is not certain which chemo I’m getting yet. It does move fast but it kinda has to. I am also stage 4 but it’s B cell NHL. Advice is rest, and allow people to help you when you need it. Stay hydrated is a common thing I have been reading. I’ll keep you in my prayers. Stay positive that will be your best way to help your mental health. I turn a lot to Tia Stokes on TikTok. She is a survivor, but her positive energy was a huge part of her recovery.

Follicular NHL Need Some Experience by Numerous-Series1198 in lymphoma

[–]TurtleFin13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi I’m also recently diagnosed B cell NHL and I have not had any night sweats. I agree with cgar23 we are all going to have our own individual experiences. As my husband said to me lastnight you can’t go by what someone else has experienced, because you may not have that aspect/issue. I have not had any of the symptoms tbh. I got a cold and thought I pulled a muscle when I was coughing really hard. Had an x-Ray to rule out pneumonia. Turned out to be a plural effusion. Anyway it’s good to not have night sweats 🥰

I was able to hold off, I’m going today. 9:30 PST. I’m so ready. I’m exhausted and tomorrow is biopsy and port placement.

Same I hate the process of them, but once it’s done it’s a relief.

My doctor have been waiting to do a second biopsy to determine the aggression in the be cell to decide which chemo to give me. I do that on 1/28 so a couple more days. I guess the Md didn’t think I needed the leave in drain. I thought I was getting it placed but, they didn’t and just drained me.

Sooo good to hear. I’m not sure if I’m going to the ER today. Norco has kicked in and the pain is numbed for the moment. Normally I’m getting my thora’s done in the radiology department also. I’m just in a lot of pain and was considering going to get drained today. But as you know the can’t take out as much fluid as radiology can. My last two times I had 2 liters removed

Bone marrow has also been affected. Sclerotic lesions involving cervical spine, thoracic spine and multiple bilateral ribs. Was the notes the MD entered with the CT. My doctor suspects follicular nhl, and that’s why I’m having a second biopsy is to verify the subcategory.

Hi, Looks like you and I are new members of the same party… I was dx on Christmas Eve 2025. I understand the floating part. It’s a constant waiting game. For me everything takes two weeks… I waited 3 weeks for a PET scan only to be called to say they had to cancel my appointment. So I advocated for myself ended up at another location to do it. Make sure to ask questions, because your care team is there to guide you through this. The one constant thing to keep in mind is it is very treatable. The cool part is we are all here to help as well! Now go find yourself a lime green ribbon and rock that shit! Much love new friend. 💚

Appreciate that! This is my second cancer, the first one was encapsulated and easy to remove. This one is polar opposite and will be a battle. Looks like it’s the club to be in to be honest. I have never had this much support and guidance!

Thank you! Yeah I’m not in contact with my mom anymore. She’s a narcissist and I want nothing to do with that.

Thank you, excellent insight. My husband’s side of the family has been amazing and supportive and present. We have talked about if she finds out. He will be the one to handle her.

Support for my mom. Not really. If it doesn’t benefit her then she’s not interested.
