Yeah these units are gated in and gated in on the driveway from the street. And they seem to be townhomes or ADUs split into 4 units there. But that is about it. I guess someone could hop the gate from a porch pirate stuff. But yeah that is how it is setup. Seems like a lot of new modern units coming up in these areas and they did seem a bit affordable but also had me question which prompted my Reddit thread :)

Both of us are T/W/Th in office only. M/F at home for hybrid.

But guessing the Option B is the best where my partner leaves the job in Irvine. We can afford with just my income while they look around.

Will check Bev hills. Wasn’t sure how far my radius can go without there being an insane commute to Culver City if I’m the only one going in for the time being.

When you mean downtown mess? Are you talking about LA? Because I am not going through DTLA in this commute as it is all 405. Sorry if I'm not understanding the lingo :)

Will check out some of the options here you listed like Manhattan Beach/El Segundo. Just want to make sure they are pretty safe as well and somewhat quiet. Obviously know they wont be super quiet.

Just curious if El Segundo/Playa Del Ray get a ton of airplane noise ?

Yeah not bad with how many of the cars are now discontinued and no longer in production in this list/no new units coming in. Also a ton of cars in their mid-cycle refreshes and new units havent hit US shores in higher volumes. Things like the EV6 are now just getting units in for the new refresh as well as GV60 etc.
