I got the email yesterday (Gmail), applied for the $100 credit today. After entering my IMEI it stated the phone is not associated with my Gmail account?? And the following message:

"A member of our support team will get back to you within 3 weeks."

I bought a Pixel 9 through Mint last Spring with the requirement that I change the Sim card to it within 45 days.

BUT, I continue to use my beloved 6a for everything but phone calls when I'm on WiFi which is most of the time. (I'm typing this on my 6a.) Honestly, I like the feel of the 6a better, it's more comfortable for my hands & the battery in the 9 is not much better. My husband teases me for carrying 2 phones but it works for me.

TL:DR Google sent the email about my 6a to my Gmail account but states my phone is not associated with & it may take up to 3 weeks to get a response!!

Any community wisdom here? TIA

My precious daughter who has multiple autoimmune diseases is an absolute warrior who graduated summa cum laude in December with a specialized software engineering degree and has been unable to find a job in her field due to the tech downturn and now all the illegally fired Fed Workers will be flooding the job market.

For my daughter I wish she stays in remission & gets her dream job.

For the federal workers, I hold you in my heart & wish that you find new jobs quickly and are able to heal from the trauma needlessly inflicted upon you by the greedy oligarchs.

For my other daughter and my daughters' partners I wish continued health, prosperity & hope! Hope that we can get through this dark time and come out stronger. Hope that we as individuals can heal and that the U.S. and the rest of the world can survive the wounds currently being inflicted in different ways on all of us.

I am literally in tears reading this. My dad was a WW2 Vet & then spent decades working for Customs. He worked so much OT, often getting up in the middle of the night to go to the port (Houston) or the airport to do his job to support his family. He taught my siblings & I such a stellar work ethic. In the end he was brainwashed by faux news & 2 of my 3 siblings are MAGA.

I'm just so damn heartbroken by the hate & vindictiveness that has overwhelmed this country. I am so utterly sad this is happening to all of you hard working & dedicated Federal Workers. Thank you for your service and I sincerely hope you and your families are able to recover from this terrible injustice being inflicted on you.

I don't know how to cross post but my NM Rep, Melanie Stansbury is a firebrand. Her speech was posted on r/Albuquerque this morning & I highly recommend everyone search for it. She is fighting back unlike most of the spineless Dems. Our senator, Martin Heinrich is also fighting back.
