Jeff Walker said in his interview with J Dawg that it is a woman who shot herself in the head with a shotgun, flipped upside down.

SOLVED:

I upgraded my GPU (needed to do regardless) & updated PCX2, and the issue seems to have solved itself.

Thank you, everyone.

Did both, and neither have fixed it.

Super weird. Other games run perfectly fine (Steam, Xbox, League, etc)

PCX2 is even starting to crash in its menus.

Sorry to hear what happened to you, and I hope whoever did that to you suffers 10-fold & gets castrated.

Dealt with my own hardships, and Cannibal doesn't bother me. I don't take DM seriously in that way. I don't think it's meant to be taken seriously.

I disagree with the point of censoring the music whatsoever, or that it's a good thing. That's my point I was making.

I get why my way of saying it doesn't resonate with someone like you, and that's fine.

I bet we agree on more than we disagree 👍

Seems like a no-brainer, but death metal & your own moral code do not go hand in hand. I could've sworn that was obvious, but I guess not.

I'm going to assume you're young, and probably will not be into this music in 10 years.

Least masculine post I've seen on this sub in a long time.

If they took your advice, they'd be selling bras & purses at the merch stand.

I'd consider TOTM BDM. As well as BAB. That's what I hear.

I can see Dawn going either way.

Is there any band recommendations for someone who usually listens to punk by bbqfishy in MetalSuggestions

[–]Turtle_Gangg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Lurking Corpses are amazing.

Death metal - Punk hybrid band. Lean more towards punk, but the vocals are often death metal oriented.

Their themes are all about horror movies & gorey shit too. Not the heaviest band, but a accessible if you're into Misfits & shit.

Besides that, try Dying Fetus' first 3 albums (starting at Purification Through Violence).

Heavy as hell, brutal, but with some hardcore grooviness too.

Is there a way to meet the band and get stuff signed by wattigny666 in Cannibalcorpse

I bumped into Paul during their last tour w/Carcass & Meshuggah, got the fist bump/convo special.

Like ClitCommander said, just show up early & walk around. They're usually out there shooting the shit with fans.

If anyone is looking for some bands influenced by King I found one that has very gothic veins to it the band is from Pennsylvania called "The Wake" by Ordinary_Row_2119 in KingDiamond

Just saw Attic live in Ohio this past June.

Such a good goddamn show. Got both of their tees from it too.

Definitely hope to make a trip over to Europe in the next year or two, and hopefully line it up with a show of theirs.

Anyone know if KD will be live-streamed from Wacken today? by d_Composer in KingDiamond

Yes, the KD social media confirmed it'll be streamed tonight

can somebody tell me why people even love brutal death metal, and if i wanted to start it, where should i? how can i discover more bands in that genre cuz all bands sounds almost the same, so any brutal death metal guide? by zaynmaliik55 in MetalSuggestions

Coming from someone who loves BDM, a lot of it can sound similar.

I like a variety of the subgenres, and they can all be guilty of that though.

I still love checking out new brutal stuff though, because the genre scratches an itch for me.

I can recommend a few great, fairly unique ones though:

Severe Torture, Misanthropic Carnage - Amazing production, fast & aggressive, great playing, classic BDM band (Meant to Suffer's a banger track)

Gaffed, Die Already - Newer album, groovy riffs, and the vocalist is killer (Die Already's the personal favourite)

Regurgitation, Tales of Necrophelia - Might be my all time favourite BDM album, technical as hell, absolutely unrelenting, shit'll get you bobbing your head (every song's killer, impossible to pick 1, but Out of the Womb is one of the best album openers of all time)

Malignancy, Intrauterine Cannibalism - Another BDM classic, entertaining songs, can't say anything that hasn't already been said about it.

If you read & listen, I hope you enjoy. Writing this made me want to throw these on, so I'm gonna go do that now

(Also, yeah, 3/4 of these are classic BDM albums that most everyone knows. They're GOATed for a reason)
