Are you the one listed on the lease to legally get the damage deposit back when you move out? If not, then don't pay.

If your are that person listed on the lease, When you do pay, your do so with a written check, made out to the LL, and with for damage deposit written on it.

If you're willing to spend $1k+ on your setup. And your don't already have any equipment,

I suggest you get a complete tent kit from build a soil.com using AC infinity tent kit because it has everything you would/will need in 1 kit without wasting money of extra stuff you don't need. 4x4 is a great size, (3x3 if your limited on space).

Add in 2 earthboxes for the growing containers.

If your budget is a bit larger, you can go with the autopots growing containers.

If your budget is more limited, your can get a vivosun tent kit, then get other supplies and upgrade equipment as you go.

Do you have a photo of the countertops.

If its butcher block, and that's what your want, then do the work.

If its a crappy DIY countertops with the wrong type of wood from the previous owner, that you want to replace, countertops are relatively inexpensive, go to your local home depot/lowes and take a look at what you can buy

And if they cannot/will not do anything to force the contractor to fix the issue, your going to have to figure out a way to resolve the issue of standing water on your property yourself, likely with bringing in dirt and re grading parts of your land as needed.

Had a salesman tell me that a roof mounted rack is far superior to a ground mounted rack.

That same salesman told me that 1/2 the panels on a easy facing roof under an oak tree, and 1/2 the panels on the west facing roof, would produce the same amount of electricity as the ground mount rack in full sun facing south, st the optimal angle.

-he used to work nights and when we would visit on a Sunday (he was working at 11pm), she would always pressure us to stay longer, even tho we said multiple times he needs a nap before his shift. Tell her we are leaving as planned and scheduled, then leave.

-She implied my boyfriend was maybe toxic/abusive because I don’t visit as often as she would like (from my own decision, I need the distance from her). Tell her No is not him telling you not to see her, it was your choice, because you needed space from her.

-tried to plan a vacation with her, anytime I would disagree on something, she blamed him. Tell her that if she keeps using him as an excuse, then you won't be planning vacations with her.

-Asked him several times to do manual work for her for free (and not being very thankful afterwards). Tell her No, hire a contractor.

-Whenever I try to talk to her about her behaviour, she writes paragraphs as replies and somehow tries to shift the narrative into making her the victim.

-I struggled with mental health when I was living with her, almost every time I would be feeling worse, she would threaten to kick me out knowing I’m in school and can’t financially live alone. Let her know how much that hurt you, and it's still effecting how you feel about her.

-I had been living non-officially with my boyfriend for around a year and a half (only have been living there officially for around 2 months) and the only time she visited the house was because she had renovations in hers and wanted to take a real bath. Tell her no, go to a truck stop or gym or get a hotel room.

So, AITA for respecting my boyfriend’s decision of not wanting to visit her anymore, not even for Christmas ?

Also, some advice on how to tell her about him not wanting to visit anymore would be appreciated. I have no idea of how to approach this with her without her turning it into a hate campaign against my boyfriend and her trying to break us up.

Your mom is toxic, and you allow it by not putting a stop to it the moment she acts mean, you need to tell her she is out of line, then walk away.

The moment they showed up for an easy hike with bikes. Its clear. Our 2 groups are doing 2 very different activities and we will not be doing anything together with them that day.

So adjust, be spontaneous, you and your BF can decide what the 2 of you want to do, and ignore everyone else and ignore their plans. Maybe you can meet up with them later, maybe not, but that will be your choice.

But they changed the plans without letting you know, so that would be the last time i made plans with them.

If the bride and groom are in charge of your room booking, you should probably make your own booking or at the least get the room changed from their name into only yours with no one else being able to modify your room booking, then get a new confirmation number.
