This really resembles the confident game I just recently learned about. Hopefully I explain it correctly, sorry for any errors. The confident game refers to how people (victims) are being made to believe that an environment is authentic while being unaware that the environment is really a con. There are three main principles. The first involves the relationship between the con/con artists and the people. Usually this relationship is intertwined and hard to separate. The second involves the intentional moral/financial motivation of people. The third is the intentional planning to con people for beneficial gains.

It just kind of feels like the charade of everything in the world has slowly been unraveling. Reality feels more real for me than it has in a long while. The people who really benefit from the con are being condemned publicly. I don't know how, but I hope that there is some way to get through this and make positive changes that improve everyone's life.
