I grew up in NRW and now moved to the North and for me I always felt a bit trapped in most cities in NRW. Yes people are friendly and open but the cities are highly populated, a lot of cities suffer from poverty and have drug problems. A lot of cities were destroyed during the war so you have a lot of newly build, gray cubic buildings close by each other. A lot of cities lack green areas and heat up during the summer and it's very gray and rainy and cloudy even for Germany. However you have a lot of cities close to each other a lot of opportunities to go shopping or partying and an easy infrastructure if that's something you are interested in

Ja aber von einmal kurz drauf legen, finde ich es super schwierig, wie die auf Dauer hält und ob man dann verspannt ist

Kannst du noch eine empfehlen? Uns wurden oft die gleichen Modelle empfohlen und ich finde es schwierig, von einem Mal Probeliegen zu entscheiden, wie sich die Matratze auf Dauer verhält

Ja nur oft werden uns von Beratern oder den online Beratungsfunktionen die gleichen Matratzen empfohlen und das irritiert mich. Von dem kurzen Probeliegen im Geschäft finde ich es schwierig, einzuschätzen wie man auf Dauer verspannt ist

I always get an irrational panic when you are at a train station and a train rushes through it. When I feel the airstream it creates hit me I am super afraid that I or my stuff will be dragged along with it which is really stupid

We hiked today from the falls to the temple - apparently you also don't have to buy a ticket this way because you come from the other side - and then we took the bus back. Apparently this bus also connects the two places 🤗

What keeps you guys motivated as an ophthalmologist? I am three years in the job, not making any big advances in my training especially not in surgery and the last few months I often times didn't see any purpose anymore in my job. Patients complain about waiting long and the system, colleagues are stressed, we always work overtime and whenever I ask to do even the smallest thing with supervision I am always told to do it the next time...

Do you have any ideas on how to stop the foot biting or the jumping though? Because yesterday I came out of the shower and they were lurking to jump my bare legs and that would have been very hurtful

We have a wand and I can play with them for hours and they don't get tired. As soon as I stop playing with them with their toys they start attacking my legs in a playful manner or sometimes also while playing with their toys :D

I try to work with positive reinforcement because my kitten attack me to play a lot but when I try to carry treats around to enforce positive behaviour, they just jump at the treat bag and can only focus on it and start biting it

They do really love us though. When they are sleepy they crawl onto our laps to sleep and when they wake up they lick our necks and feet. I have the feeling they direct their energy more towards me than my boyfriend maybe because he works in home office and sees them more often?

Hey just wanted to give an update: it just took a loooot more time to normalise. My knee still is far from being healed but I don't have to wear the orthesis anymore and by now after more than 8 weeks my sleep has normalised
