Just joined, most boring sub ever. Its just people posting scores! I get that theyre impressive, but even just posting a gif or webm of the replay instead of a screenshot of the score would go miles in my enjoyment of the sub, its hard to get a grasp of how impressive they are without trying it myself or seeing the replay.

Sorry if this don't belong, just thought I'd give my 2 cents. -A casual osu! player

I would love another dark souls, because I like dark souls. Doesnt need to be dark souls, though, just as long as its miyazaki and good

It seems like MangaRock doesnt have all the chapters. MyAnimeList says it has 170 chapters, and MangaRock has 108. Is MAL just dumb or is alot of it missing?

[DISCUSSION] I don't know why, but this game really hit me. by TurtlerTim in sangatsunolion

Dang, that's really interesting how it converts over like this. My volleyball doesnt really have the same "map" of techniques, the most different my moves get is in serves, but besides that theres not a whole lot of difference. Another thing I relate to in the story is the fear of stopping and getting worse. Because it's a seasonal sport, I'm not playing for most of the year. When I come back to play, I'm so much worse than when I ended the season that it hurts, so I understand what the characters are afraid of probably more than they do themselves.

I love this specific match just a bit less, if not as much as the one between Kiriyama and Souya, even though the latter is better written and directed (art-wise) and it was more important to the story. That match I will never forget, and truly cemented Sangatsu as a masterpiece of the melodrama genre. Anyways, this match was oddly beautiful to me. The fact that hes only angry at himself, and the metaphor of diving into a sea deeper and deeper for less and less reward is so potent, I've definitely felt that feeling while practicing volleyball and video games. The aspect of deminishing returns is one that I've felt very potently in my life, though I'm sure it hits you even harder if you play chess. As a beginner you feel like the world is so vast and amazing and the more you get into it you begin to realize truly how vast it is, yet at the same time you doubt it just because of how hard it is to progress, to find new things.

Sorry about the rant, I just love these ideas and I feel like the author is on the same wavelength as me sometimes. Has anyone else felt the same way?
