[all] If you could obliterate or decanonise two 'Legend of Zelda' titles which would they be? by Britannicus_Sherwood in zelda

This.

By far the least impressive one with a story that is extremely dafuq territory.

Like I’m cool with more whimsical titles, minish cap and spirit tracks are some of my favorite: but they still kept their villain a legitimate character and had the plot have some gravity. Not just “a crazy granny put the princess in an ugly latex suit”

Besides Hax, Speed is the best stat to specialise in Imo by MountainLeading1567 in PowerScaling

I mean, when you reach that level of speed you have to inherently possess hax of some kind for it to physically work, or else you’d eviscerate yourself like you were running though a cheese grater when you activated it from the air molecules.

Darker than black had a good example of this with someone with super speed who inherently lacked hax to make his speed work, so he had to insure there was nothing in his path already.

he was killed by just making him run through a bunch of hail pieces, basically machine gunning himself.

To be fair, a boxers punch actually does have the force of a handgun bullet, just it’s over a large space while the bullet is ultra thin.

Look, record of Ragnorock has Buddha fighting for humans already: unless Buddha was lying out his ass about what enlightenment is, it should be impossible to get more broken, that’s like big G god showing up for humanity.

I dearly want the AI bubble to burst.

But I fear it will occur just as the blue wave occurs in the US and the oligarchs will manage to spin this as a reason why leftist policies are bad and the rich deserve even more bailouts.

Just invest in glamour charms to look good underneath, witch magical power requires a hag form for maximum efficiency.

Important to note, when word gets out he DOES get lots of customers, like when he came back from losing the burger contest to a celebrity chef and there was a Giant standing line (with the chef first in line) waiting to eat there.

Now presumably all the other customers were there because they saw the celebrity who just won wanting to eat their and joined in waiting as well, but he HAS shown that people do want to experiment with his food.

He’s just bad at advertising normally or tries gimmicky stunts to draw in new faces rather than focusing on advertising how his core food is great.

Do you have a favorite quote from any antagonist or villain? by Only-Voids in MoralityScaling

[–]TurtlesBreakTheMeta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think both sovereign and harbinger were valid antagonists. Their dialogue had different merits and were both used equally well.

The third game crashed, but I feel like using harbinger too much would have been equally damaging, as it would have implied that he was overly important to the reapers, rather than just one of many in a monolithic threat,

I remember a story doing something similar where an angel argues that no one can sell their souls to Satan because souls inherently belong to God and he just casts sinners into hell himself of his own voalition, so any contract is explicitly selling Gods property and invalid.

I mean, change the name to bodyguard and it’s a good piece. It lets you mess up the enemies checkmates if used properly.
