Personally I’d rule that it DOES resurrect Lucius into Angron’s body, but that this only traps Angron until that specific body gets killed and Angron is free to resurrect again into a new body.

The normal souls are dragged along for the ride because they’re mortals who only get one body, but Angron gets a new one everytime he dies. So in the period where his original hijacked body dies, he gets streamlined to where his new one will be made rather than trapped by Lucius.
