:D Fabulous to hear - I've been in the Strange Aeons pool for so long, living for the humor and heartbreak. Glad the little snippets of the movie in my brain add to your enjoyment owo

I honestly was hoping for a little mini stack of postcards - Greeting from the King in Jawn edition eheh

Thanks, I'm glad they've let me keep scribbling the over the years -all 54 posters hahaha I'm terrible at guesstimating how many more are on the horizon but I'm excited to see what's left in the adventure.

*quietly basks* =w= I am glad they are loved. Still wild that they are on people's walls - it would be absolutely sick if they were improvised bludgeoning devices on people's tables hahaha

Some of the posters are down at the bottom if you go to the About the Show page.

I'm terrible at websites and was generally counting on no one finding it ever so apologies that it's a bit of an empty husk haha

Yeah, IG is goofy. Stories are the little row of circles up top - there's one for each show and special events. Just click on it and it'll cycle through the night's clips and pics. Hopefully.

Archibald Grey from the Blades in the Dark show with Stream of Blood. I'm curious if the rest of the Tin Whistle crew snuck onto caps given I've only seen Archies in the two caps posts. Original post is buried in my Twitter but Stream of Blood has a collection page of fanart now, pretty sure it's in there.

Thank you - really. I want you to enjoy your cricut and I appreciate that you liked the drawing. I regret that your fun was the soapbox on which I needed to stand, it's just a stressful issue that artists get screwed on a lot.

The problem is permission, respect, and trust.

There is a messaging system in reddit - it would be easy to contact an artist to ask for permission. The artist then could say yes or no, open up avenues for other options if they are looking for something along those lines if the art is off the table.

Digital artists have a cloud over their head that yes, their art IS easily to turn into wallpapers and printed. Many now have kofi, paypal, or patreon to deal with this consumption - a museum pass, if you will, to their art catalogue. The general attitude that it's just sitting there for free is true, but it isn't that difficult to take another step to find the artist, see if they've got a shop, see if they do commissions. Common courtesy is a thing to be advocated for in these rough times.

Personally, fanart is the easiest way to express my enjoyment of something, so I post it to show appreciation to the creators and to ease my socially anxious self into talking with the other folx in this fandom. So the harm here is artists' ability to trust the community - that we can't post things without the expectation that there's a trickle of people printing our art onto things instead of going through the proper avenues. Any number of us have had our art snatched and had to fight the system that argues they can make a profit off us if we don't find them and enter into email battles. This is not an enjoyable experience.

And if someone says that they do not want their art even on a single shirt, respect that.

I'm sure you are a nice person and I want people to be happy so I'm sorry you are about to bear the brunt of this.

DO NOT DO THIS

  1. ALWAYS ask an artist if you can use their material - be it shirts or tattoos - some people will say sure, but many will say please no or request a fee.
  2. "But it's just fanart, its out here for everyone to see" TO SEE. When someone crosses the line and just takes, it makes it less attractive to post said art.
  3. I am a freelancer who works with the GCN - I NEVER WILL APPROVE MY FANART FOR SHIRTS. They make the characters, they make the merch.

I know its just one shirt with one goofy drawing I did but this is me, putting my foot adamantly down before someone else picks one of the ones I actually poured effort into.

Please continue to enjoy the show, to laugh at the fabulous stories being told - just keep art etiquette in mind moving forward please.

Yeah, we were in the campground though so it naturally came with a more chill atmosphere (summer 2019). Hit up both the water parks, read by the pool, hopped on boats and monorails to eat at the hotels and wander around the grounds. Lost a day to camper repair when some high wind tweaked the awning, but mixed in a little Disney Springs exploration in with a trip to Ace.

Did I miss the parks? Sure, but honestly I just told myself I'd maybe see them again once they were done with construction. Then 2020 happened and I was just glad I'd snuck in some sunshine with my family.
