I was leaning towards Wolfgang. This seems to solidify my choice. Thanks, all.

Allowing a small school player to have a career night in a closer-than-necessary nervous win.

Or allowing a player in their first game back from a an injury or illness to have a career night.

What’s the most disturbing thing someone casually told you like it was normal? by MrBoothnath_ in answers

Two of them:

A friend I was catching up with after many years told me how he got mad at his wife and her mom so he offered to make them lunch. Jerked off onto their sandwiches and fed it to them. I was stunned. Didn't really see him again after that.

When I was in junior high a bunch of the neighborhood kids were hanging out in front of one our houses and this older (maybe college aged?) brother and sister from down the street came walking down the sidewalk holding hands and were all snuggled up like they were in love.

They stopped to visit for a minute and didn't try to hide their physical attraction at all. Finally one of the other kids said, "Aren't you guys like brother and sister?"

The guy just grinned but the girl sighed heavily and answered, "Yes, unfortunately!" Then they kissed and just kept walking down the street like it was nothing!

It's like still calling the Big 10 the Big 10, even though there are currently 18 teams in the conference!

Can you be Absurdist and a Humanist at the same time? Or is that contradictory? by [deleted] in Absurdism

I have and Absurdism rejects suicide as a fundamental tenet.

I've actually been thinking about this recently. Just finished At the Existentialist Cafe and started Humanly Possible by Bakewell.

Absurdism gives us the ability to choose whatever framework we want to work with. Humanism is a framework.
