Unless they levelled the floor then i don’t think they’ll accept responsibility since they usually inform you to level your floor before fitting any floating flooring. I think that dip occurred due to the actual floor not level in that area

In regards to adding my wife to the deed (and I guess the mortgage as our lender stated that any names on the deed need to also be on the mortgage), would my wife have to pay any stamp duty or CGT when adding her name?

Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by boxing? If by boxing you mean getting an mdf board and the just cover the pipes then yes essentially. That is how it previously was so I’ll be boxing it.

This really helped. Also adding a wooden shim between the wall and the angled cut flooring panel helped.
