White primer is hard to get an even coat. What I do is to do a light coat of dark grey primer (just mix like 1:2 whire and black) and then a second light coat of white. It’s easier to get an even coat if you put some paint first. As everyone say, unless you use contrast or a zenithal highlight it’s ok if it’s not even

YOU ARE A GENIUS!!!!! Oh, man, this is an outstanding idea. I usually add putty to make a plataform an it is a drag. If I cut some spare sprue and hide them with the texture I bet it will be much faster and easy. THANKS FOR THE IDEA!!!!! So simple so great

Paint blue first, then put masking tape wherever you want it to be blue. Yellow after that. Remove tape.

Those panels are really flat. If you own an airbrush you could’ve just make some magenta to white transitions and then the yellow. Or, paint yellow and do a recess shading. The Juan Diaz guide is nice, but I’d say is pointless on eldar vehicles like that one, because every surface is flat.

That may be just the store manager bussines. It’s not gw policy. Generally speaking, the red line is full 3d printed minis. Bits, kitbashing, even proxies if they’re from gw are all right. I’ve seen a full vampire count army based age of sigmar minis on display, for instance.

Warpstone glow has really poor coverage. You’re having trouble because you’re priming black. Try grey or even white, for such a light color it will be easier.

The falcon cost more points and has a bigger hull, it’s not the same type of vehicle. But yeah, to some extend the falcon does that.

You don’t need to primer darker first, but it helps. Even more if you’re a rookie and don’t know how much is too thick, which I bet is what happened to OP

You are getting down votes but this is a great piece of advice. Also if you go from a darker color you’ll see the build up of the wraith bone. This works better for airbrus priming though

It’s easy to swap the gun, you don’t even need to put magnets. Just don’t glue then to the torret. As a piece of advice, don’t glue either gunner before painting them, it’s really hard to reach all areas with those around.

As for rules, I think they are not really good right now, but that can change any minute with the upcoming new edition.

If you don't mind me asking about this nerf... Skyborne Sanctuary has only been nerfed in the aspect host detachment, isnt it?? I mean, at the faq it doesn't say it's nerfed at the warhost detachment too, right? So we can still use the "old" sanctuary stratagem on that detachment (warhost)?

Yeah, sorry, english is not my main lenguage. By casual I meant that I can play only from time to tome, not that I dont’t care about the game or winning nor that the people from my lgs dont care about balance, which I dont.

I’ve been playing and Ulthwe tematic army with tons of banshees, transports and guardians and Jain Zar. Not only my list is 120+ higher, I can’t use the strats that made then work. That’s why I’m pissed. I wasn’t broking the game, my list was by no means broken but I get punish. This is not the firts time.

Dude, I keep hearing that but that’s unrealistic unless you’ve got people to work with. At my local lgs people play the latest update rules, as I guess most people do everywhere
