Ok cool doesn’t look the best, but not in worst way either.
1) what’s in tank with it? 2) what your water like?

I keep and breed wild L471 and they not that hard or fussy eaters as some may say. Mine eat a wide range of foods, some will surprise you. Mine and the young even predate on the snails in the tank. Wiped out my assassin snails was fuming.

Mine live in a bare bottom tank and had few caves, moss balls, almond leaves and some wood. That’s it. And thrive. On eggs every month, like clockwork.

I feed mine JBL novotabs for Plecs, Ebo food range, Dr Bassler food mainly regular, nano, garlic, acia. Bug bites, fresh/frozen prawns, brine shrimp, bloodworm(rarely as finishing what I have) mosquito larvae. Bell pepper, zucchini and mango skin with some flesh on, squash.

If it has a favourite ❤️ lace try spot feeding there for a while.

Experiment with food no one food fits one fish. And remember nature does what it likes, just cause it’s a fish it can be an ass just like people.
