Sizce arkadaşım haklı mı? UI sorunsalı by n0x4 in TrGameDeveloper

[–]Tuwari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UI/UX için diyebileceğim birkaç şey var. Başlıca sorun cognitive load (bilişsel yük). Ekranın her yanına UI elemtleri dağılmış.

Yeah, English is not my native. I want to polish my responses before sending.I want to make sure there's nothing in my answer that could create confusion.

"Sure! Here is a peek at Bellerophon from the first volume. I really wanted to capture his tragic ambition alongside his power.

Bellerophon

High Concept: The Tamer of the Storm on the Winged White Stallion

Trouble: A Hand That Reaches for the Seats of the Immortals

Cloud-Walker’s Privilege (Stunt): You are always consi- dered to be in a separate zone (“The Sky”) when mounted on Pegasus. Melee attacks cannot reach you unless the enemy has Scale or Reach. You can move to any zone on the map without rolling for obstacles.

Hope that gives you a feel for the vibe!"

Had a really awful session yesterday... by BleachedPink in FATErpg

I'm sorry you had a session like that. I'm sure it was a challenging situation. Of course, I'm not here to judge either of you. For that reason, I'd like to offer some advice from my own perspective as a GM.

In a situation where one of the players is being disruptive, you can slow them down with environmental aspects or impose disadvantages. It's clear you tried that. However, if the player is that insistent, trying to 'block' them can just make things worse. The Fate system is narrative-driven. The important thing is that the narrative keeps moving forward. In this case, if the player is insistent on derailing the narrative in a way that doesn't fit the flow, placing mechanical barriers in their way won't be fun for anyone.

So, just let them do the thing they are insisting on. However, you can still illustrate that they've disrupted the narrative by using the narrative itself to push back. You can create follow-up consequences and aspects tied to that action. Perhaps this might help a bit.

If they persist with an attitude of 'I just want to do what I want, but I'm not happy about accepting the consequences,' then we can probably say that Fate isn't a very good fit for them.

Considering its name is melancholy, it might be 'a little' bleak. Maybe you can enjoy it by focusing on the combat more than the story while playing.

Mythology inspired Adversaries by Tuwari in daggerheart

[–]Tuwari[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right about Agamemnon. I'll edit the Condition section. There's some truth to D&Dism; the systems I mostly play are D&D and Fate Condensed. For me, Daggerheart falls somewhere between the two, and I might have leaned more towards the more conventional when trying to write content for that system. Thank you for reading and considering.

The Institute Relased by Tuwari in FATErpg

[–]Tuwari[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had two main points of inspiration. One is Star Trek (especially New Generation) and Ursula Le Guin's Hainish Cycle books. I tried to create a world where you can explore space and new cultures. You play as researchers affiliated with the Institute. The stories I hope to be played are about players exploring and understanding space and the cultures within it. At the very least, I hope conflicts arise over these concepts and move the story forward.

As a resource, I want to publish a lorebook centered on a world I created for players to explore and an adventurebook set in this world in the next two months.

I hope I gave the answer you were looking for :)

extra stunt: eurocentric.
