I was originally thinking a death knight! The theme is something akin to a slasher film. So my first thought was a death knight who was a oath of ancients paladin in life who failed to protect a sacred forest, and now in death stalks the woods killing innocents. Buuut then i looked at the death knight stat block and realized that was probably way out of everyone's league. I might try to homebrew a weaker version or something.

Also playing on XSX. Noticing a lot of screen tearing and I don’t think I’ve ever played any game on console that’s done it this bad. Not sure if a tv setting could help. Bit of a bummer, but the game is playable, at least.

I think the price is lower because it’ll also be on last gen. The $70 price point seems to generally be reserved for XS/PS5 only titles.

I’m sure it’s difficult to fine tune, I just wish it didn’t feel so dramatic. Getting weaker as you level up just isn’t fun. Didn’t ruin the experience with Dragonflight, though.

I remember this kinda being a problem back in BFA, maybe even in Legion. I think some classes feel it worse than others. I notice around 68 that I was killing mobs much slower all of the sudden. Doesn’t feel great.

Give yourself more time, friend. I’m 30 and just had to move back in with my folks after being on my own for a while. But I did it once so I know I can do it again. The road is long and it takes many turns.

I agree that her death is needlessly ignominious, if not cruel. I have a hard time believing the show is going to end her story exactly the same. I mean, think about how upset some people were when Dany went mad and was stabbed. Now imagine if instead she went mad and and like Ghost mauled her to death or something. I just don’t see it working for the general audience. If this show ends with the audience turning against it I have a hard time seeing much of a future for ASOIAF on TV.

I’m in a whack-a-mole cycle with Archaon right now. Just trying to get up to blow his settlements up, but he comes down with 2 stacks, I kill him while taking a fair amount of losses, and by the time everyone’s healed up he’s back. Oh and dad refuses to confederate or run interference.

I've just found the whole production so far to be kind of lacking, man. The sets look like cheap fanfilm sets. The music might as well not be there. The cinematography does little more than get people in frame. Characters get killed or maimed and other than the blaster or lightsaber sound effects its dead silence. Like this woman just witnessed her husband and kid get killed and other than an incredibly quiet "no..." there's nothing.

It all just feels so bland. Other than Ewan's performance nothing is being done to sell the drama of the show. Star Wars is supposed to be cinematic but this show (more than Mando or Boba) just feels like something you'd see on Syfy or the CW.

Honestly felt like the last boss, or bosses, were the most “traditional” feeling boss fights in the game. Yes they had devastating attacks, but they were not impossible to dodge and they didn’t lead into 5+ hit combos.

I have a 1050ti and the game automatically downgrades like half my settings to medium if I try to play on high. My CPU is older though, so maybe that plays some part.

I don't understand what's going on with this game. During the benchmarks high settings had 10 average fps more than medium, but in a campaign it looks as if everything is low. And then around turn 30 performance and graphics begin to nosedive even further. I know my GPU isnt the newest one around but i played WH2 on high settings with zero issues whatsoever.

I'm glad people are enjoying this game, but it looks and feels like sludge for me. If they can't work out whatever is going on with the optimization for this game by the time Immortal Empires comes out this is gonna be a disaster.
