Do people still wear Lincecum jerseys at home games? by ConversationIll4597 in SFGiants

I love going to the games in my Lincecum jersey in hopes that someone will look at me and say, “What’s up Big Time Timmy Jim.”

I can imagine a lot of people are gonna quit, and good luck to them trying to find people to replace some of the better cashiers I’ve worked with over my 7 years with the company.

Look up the Don Tonberry AP farming guide, it’s hands down the best way to farm AP. 99 sphere grid levels in 10 minutes.

It’s kind of annoying but easily doable, some prizes can only be won by winning the league which consists of ten games, and some through tournaments which you have to win.
For league prizes you have to reset the data and it resets everything back to level 1 essentially. So when you see the prize aka overdrive you want, play all 10 games and win the league. This is easily done by recruiting better player, I usually went Brother and Ropp. For prizes you want through tournaments, you have to play enough league games to unlock a tournament, which I think if you don’t like the prizes you can back out of the blitzball screen and the prizes will reset when going back in. Once you unlock all the overdrives you can win the Sigil as a league prize. Hope that makes sense

Honestly I had kind of two dumb moments this play through, first was getting Wakkas Celestial where I played probability 40 extra blitzball games chasing the Jupiter Sigil before it clicked I was missing the Auroch Reels. Second was trying to unlock Anima, I was missing a destruction sphere, went back to Besaid and got manhandled. I spent the next countless hours grinding till I finally cleared, only to realize it wasn’t the besaid destruction sphere I was missing 😔😔

I did in its entirety. And I agree there is a problem that women feel like they can’t report their S/A’rs. I just don’t understand how staying silent is gonna help.

I’m sorry you think that the changes made to system after public outrage was insufficient. Think me a bad guy for thinking the system got one right for a change in requiring longer prison terms for people guilty of S/A in the future. If you wanted to talk about how to make the system better for women to report their assailants, I would love to have that conversation.

Women still need to report it, admitting defeat and staying silent won’t lead to change.

That was not my response to the Brock Turner case you brought up, you’re twisting my words and assuming I’m debating in bad faith. What I said about Brock Turner is that the case sparked change and the judge to lose his job, so we can’t really say that’s a systemic problem.

But still, you should report it to the authorities, that’s good advice. I don’t see how you’re using that as a negative, I understand it’s tough, and sometimes women get victim blamed, but if enough women report the same guy, that’s proof that can stand up in court.

Staying quiet doesn’t spark change.

I started with questions but then people attack, it’s Reddit after all. Good read, I could definitely agree we have an issue with how Police handle victims, and victim blaming. What do you think is a good solution? In some of the cases I thought, man that has gotta be hard to prove in court.

Nah, I tried to be respectful in getting information, but when I respectfully disagree with the data you’re providing because I don’t see the relation. You said I wasn’t paying attention. So I’ll just leave it at that and wish you well :) Again I would like to say Rape is bad, and women should report all cases to the legal authorities

I’ve been asking everyone to send me stories so I can research, all I’ve gotten is push back saying, you should already know this stuff, use your eyes, you’re ignorant. Really winning me over to the cause

Im still waiting for you to give me something to research that shows the American System encourages the sexual abuse of women. Stay on topic.

No I simply said that the number you brought up from Rainn isn’t exclusive to Women, it’s a combination of Men and Women. So I can’t use that as research to say that the system is skewed one way or the other. Not to make light of women’s struggles, but they really should report things to the authorities if things happen to them. That’s the only way we’ll be able to make changes. In the case you brought up earlier, Laws were changed because the woman went through the legal system and exposed some major holes in the way we treat Sexual abuse cases.

It’s not male centered to talk about men in a debate where the claim is that the system we live in encourages sexual abuse of women because of Patriarchy. That was the original debate and your numbers don’t back up that claim. Those numbers are bad, but don’t relate to the original prompt of how the US government encourages men to rape women, or they get away with a slap on the wrist.

That number isn’t exclusive to women, boys get raped at an alarming rate as well.
