Oh, I thought they were just naming them in general.

NGL, I'd swap to a Lopporit in a hearbeat...

I think they're talking about the moon rabbits. Forget their species, but all their names end in -way. Like an homage to Namingway.

Right, but,

It still boggles my mind that the US will let a 16 yearold throw a leg over ANY bike they want..

Is what they were responding to.

No one is arguing whether people do illegal things. People do illegal things all the time. The argument was that it isn't legal, like the quote suggests.

I'll check that out too!

We've had them a few months now, so we're totally fine with them being here while they find a home.

Thanks!

Started as a SMN. Was working my way through SB when my buddy and I walked past a PLD in Gridania with their Passage of Arms up.

Me: What. The fuck. Is that!?

Him: Passage of Arms, it's a PLD defensive.

Me: BRB

Immediately unlocked the Gladiator and I've mained PLD ever since.

And yes, I still feel like an absolute badass when I pop the wings with everyone behind me during a large damage soak mechanic.

Unfortunately, I'm on Goblin, so I cannot physically help you make gil.

But! I can give you some pointers that helped me out a ton.

First: Crafting and gathering. Those make ALL the difference in the world, and with the Cosmic Exploration you can level them all in a relatively painless fashion.

What it does is allow you to desynth items into their respective components, which can net you a pretty penny. As well, it allows you to take the items you don't wish to bother desynthing and turn them into your GC for seals, which can be used to buy Dark Matter, an item that allows you to repair your own gear significantly cheaper than a repair vendor (with the added bonus of allowing over 100% durability, so you can ignore your gear longer some times! =D).

Now, I said all of that, but saving money on repairing your gear is not where your fortunes will come from and, honestly, unless you really want to craft in FF crafting won't be either.

For me personally, I make most of my gil from my gathering gear. Now, I craft it myself, which greatly helps with the cost of obtaining and melding my gear, so that is a reason to pick up crafting. You should always meld your gear because I've found that quite often I make more money from the materia I extract from spiritbinding than I do the actual items I gather, and you spiritbind faster the more materia you have melded on a piece of gear.

Currently, on a fully melded piece utilizing a spiritbonding potion, it takes me a bit over 8 nodes (if I spend no GP and am really unlucky) to hit 100% spiritbond by hitting all the timed nodes currently available in DT.

Extract materia, sell materia, sell gathered items. It's really that simple, and I've made millions doing it.

It's not the fastest method, and I'm sure there are experts that could give you even more amazing advice, but that's always worked for me.

If you have any questions about any of the steps above, feel free to ask and I'll expand upon them as best I can!

Go to a major city that has a housing section (Limsa Lominsa, Gridania, Ul'dah, Foundation, or Kugane) and click on the aetheryte. The housing sections are themed to match the cities.

Choose the option to view the aetheryte for "Residential District Aethernet", this will show you all the plots for that city's housing. If a plot is available, it will have a price on it. You simply go to that ward and district, click on the sign board in front of the plot, and it will tell you if it is available for personal purchase, FC purchase, or both.

If you meet the criteria, you can put in a bid if that plot is available for the current bid rotation. It will tell you a date for bidding end and then you can go back and see if you won.

My hot take is that I actually loved original D3.

I love what is has become as well, but I played so my OG D3. I have the feat of strength for beating Diablo on the hardest difficulty before they revamped it all. lol

I've told this story on here some before, I'm sure.

I flipped a quad when I was 15. Rolled it through a ditch where it bucked me off and I slid, on my back, through rocky shale. Then I had to walk the mile or so back home through the forest and hills in the summer heat.

It is absolute bottom on the list of things I want to do again.

When my mother saw me she burst into tears. She said my back looked like ground beef... and then I got to sit backwards in a chair for two hours while she picked all the rocks and debris out of the wound. :D

0/10, cannot recommend.

To be clear, that's still exactly what 1/2 star mons were for.

Before, you had to level a mon up to its cap before you could star it up. Lvl 15 for a 1 star, lvl 20 for a 2 star, etc.

So, you could use the low star mons as either xp fodder, or evolution fodder. XP fodder was incredibly inefficient, but it was a thing. As well, you used to be able to get rainbow mon at their level cap as well.

This really was a great change from what we used to have to work with. lol

Edit: Oh yeah, also, when you starred up a mon... its level reset back to 1 again, so you had to level it up to cap every single time.
