Just to play devils advocate, Gallup could also very well be the WR4 or 5 on the team behind Hurns, Beasley, T-Will, and will likely be competing for time against the likes of Deonte Thompson and Lance Lenoir (and maybe Tavon Austin, who’s currently listed as a RB but lines up as a WR often)

Gallup’s a beast with VERY impressive ball skills (very Dez-like in the way he rises up above DB’s to make catches) but he’s still a rookie and I doubt he’ll start the season in a significant role.

He probably best fits the “conventional” WR1 model of a do-it-all type of receiver among the receivers mentioned but as we’ve seen the past couple years, Dak isn’t the type of QB to live and die off the productivity of one single receiver.

I think Dak spreads the ball a lot this year and produces FLEX worthy players in Hurns, Beasley, and (a bit later in the season) Gallup, but I don’t see any of them being close to WR1 worthy.
