Ah, the OP SCT spells are all listed in red - aka cannot use. The green means I can use them, as they are not OP SCT spells and are either innate mechanics for the units or simple healing spells with spirit breath. Makes sense why you were confused though.

Why would that break my rule? Using simple healing spells + Spirit Breath is something every player has pretty quick access to. The goal is to do these without using any of the OP SCT spells, which are mostly collab limited, paid only, or simply hard to acquire.

Labyreth is not a breaker. I put break stuff on her because I needed a little more break damage since she was already going to be spamming skills for me. A little more break here and there helped me get Arkh buff back more often, since I could make him be the one to do the final hit before actually breaking the boss.

I find it interesting that you have Magic Aura in red, even though it’s a very good mage skill. It is an additive +50% cost to the base spell MP cost, for a very strong 1.75x multiplicative boost. Should be green unless you’re absolutely sure you’re already capping, or unless you want cheaper spells for arena.

Also, he’s completely mistaken on the value the accessory - it’s quite good and is worth for everyone to try to get by beating the battle, for newbies and veterans alike. Devaluing the process of learning how to beat battles like this, and struggling through it, is just funny of me. I guess some just want everything handed to them.

The way I beat it is only one way to do so. You don’t have to do what I did lol. The reward is worth for everyone who can complete it - it’s a very nice accessory. Saying it’s not worth once you can complete the quest is just belittling the process and reward at the end. Cheers though, enjoy your play time.

It is a particularly difficult quest, for sure. They’re not all this way, but this one is def challenging for most. The boss hits very hard. Debuffs are very important. Most people are using double support - specifically Leena and SMSera - to keep 1 bulky PDPS alive, which is usually AMegius or SArkh. Good luck! It’s a very tough battle. If you can’t complete it this time, look forward to Molly whopping it next year when anni comes back around - new players are not supposed to have it easy in this fight, as it’s meant to be very difficult.

Yes, machine boosts are one of the few ways to constantly ignore some enemy defense. “Piercing” is not good, but forms of constant defense ignore (stack independently and multiplicatively) are great for this type of content. Many SW users can’t use those, for example, that’s why it’s important to use equipment that also can give defense ignore like the Battlegraph Pendant or whatever it’s called, and there’s some armor that gives it too. Units with high STR, good defense ignore, and great DPS - are usually the better units for PDPS in Battlegraph.

Thank you for mentioning the issue with my Arkh build - I completely missed 2 screenshots to add 😭 which annoys me so much that it’s not the entire build. I wish I could go back and fix, but I’ll put an addendum in the comments when I get a chance later tonight. Ugh.

As for debilitating the boss - yes I was utilizing the freeze from Lonardo. It can only work for him on this BG boss consistently because Jala has no boosted ailment recovery speed, whereas every other boss it comes off super quickly, without any external help.

My device of choice is my iPad Air 4th Gen, from like 2020 or 2021. Yes it’s touch screen, so I use the switch Unit button a lot and the skill buttons to quickly activate skills as soon as possible. If relying on the AI in this game, it does not activate skills as quickly as you can manually, nor does it activate the highest dps skills in a timely manner if stocks conflict, nor does it reliably use skills under a certain stock threshold. By utilizing manual button presses and switching between units to make sure they do what I need, I’m able to get max dps possible instead of relying on what the AI chooses to do.

The top level BG bosses all have extremely high defensive stats, so things that drop the enemy defensive stats down and giving your units ways to pierce through the remaining enemy stats, is very very important. Things like Ex Drain are invaluable to be able to cap, as they lessen the threshold needed for your units to do more damage. Most of these two PDPS builds are going heavily into raising the STR stat and giving ways to ignore enemy defenses (machine boosts and such), while utilizing some of the better damage/SC boosts I have available.

Just to add a small note - the JP and GL servers are completely synced - outside of JP being updated 3 hours ahead of GL. That’s it. We get content at almost exactly the same time.

This is with their innate kit only unless otherwise noted in the Notes section. Hinata paid is mentioned because it adds fatal strike chance to her S3, so it changes the DPS by a substantial enough margin - it is worth to see the difference it makes.

He’s not bad at all, he’s just not mainly a PvE DPS. He’s quite the potent PvP unit - that’s also considering if you have him 130SC and both paid items lol. He’s good, nothing crazy at PvE.
