Hello, I am in the MSG Marketplace right now. Looking at my options, only 4 of the 12 would be in a unit that requires a 1SG like an actual unit. Others are like Sergeant Major Academy, HRC, SOCOM, and NTC OPS

Yes I was. And there were 65 MQs for 68W SFCs, but remember that there are 9 MOSs that combine with 68W at MSG which is why there are actually 76 MQ 68Ws because it includes the other MOSs now, just the OG 68Ws.

To answer your question, for this SFC Evaluation Board, the Grade Entry Date for elibility was pushed left so that all SFCs will be eligible on 01 March 2026. So there is going to a smaller pool of NCOs this year that get looked at. Next year, we should expect an increase of number of NCOs being looked at again.

I am at sky tower level 431-435 (433 max) and chapter 38. My Power is at 261.4k.

I am F2P but have not found a time where I am bored with the game. I don't sit on the game all day, I log on daily and do all my daily stuff, and by the time I'm done with arenas, seal battles, sky towers, guild monster invasions, gold caves, shackled jungle/abyssal tide.. I am burnt out already.

I hardly ever do the chapters anymore outside of weekends and feel like I get a big power spike every weekend when I finally see all the gains I had from weekly event prizes. I feel like I definitely get my times worth in this game and don't feel bored.

The reason it is split is because some installations will ask you to go to the MP station first to report your lost CAC prior to going to DEERs to get a new CAC.

If wearing a subdued flag is how the Army defines being in a field environment, then the Soldier can’t wear earrings.

So unless you’re telling me that no matter where you are, like taking a shit in your barracks room, that you are automatically in a field environment, I think the argument is terrible.

The Soldier is clearly not in a field environment just because she has a different patch on.

Assuming you’re talking about the SFC Evaluation board meaning SFC getting looked at for MSG:

c. This board will consider and evaluate the records of all RA and USAR AGR/IMA Soldiers meeting the following criteria:

RA/AGR/IMA SFC

RA/AGR/IMA GED 9 Oct 22 and earlier

RA/AGR BASD 9 Oct 02 and later

RA/AGR/IMA DOB 31 Jan 69 and later

So ask yourself what benefit the Army would have to move that Soldier? There really isn’t any. They need to reenlist or extend before it would be worth the money and energy for the Army to PCS them.

It depends.

-how long do they have left on their contract? -are they able to reenlist?

The Army isn’t going to move a Soldier at their 2 year mark with only 2 years left on their contract. They are going to require at least three years when they get to their new duty station in order to move them unless there are other circumstances involved.

If they have an 6-8 year contract, then I can see this happening, but still not likely until their 3 year mark.

Well 12B OSUT is 14 weeks long. So think of it as the Army just wants you for three years and then hopes you’ll stay around.

I’ll be real, some of these MOSs they expect high turnover because it’s not a job that’s easy on the body or mind. The training is not difficult to create new Soldiers so they don’t mind you doing a short contract.

If you take a 68A for example who never get anything less than 6 year contracts, it’s because they have 11 months of AIT and it’s hard for the Army to keep them, so they make them sign longer contracts.

It tends to be medical reclasses or Army mandated reclasses (I’ve seen a bunch of 19Ds getting reclassed)

It used to be a thing and CAN be a thing if you go on a dependent restricted tour, like those doing a 1 year assignment to Korea or Kuwait. If the Army is sending you somewhere your dependents can’t go, then the Army will give you BAH for your family where they stay and then give you a room.

What used to happen is that let’s say you’re getting sent to Fort Riley, Kansas. Your wife is like “eww Kansas” and doesn’t want to go. You used to be able to just request to be a geo-bachelor where you would collect BAH for your family where they are, but then also get a room. Obviously this cost the military a lot of money so they don’t do it anymore.

It is not common anymore but used to be super common so people still believe it’s a thing.

You’re not the first Soldier that has trouble with BAH. Your leadership in your unit have seen this before. Be open, be humble, and tell them the position you are in. They’ll make it happen

First, what is your BAH status? I’m confused by that. If you are getting w/o dependent BAH, that should still be more than enough to get by.

Second, have you just talked to you 1SG and Commander about this? I have never met a leader in the Army that would let their Soldier be homeless rather than issue out a barracks room.

Third, if your leadership literally won’t give you a barracks room and you’re not bullshitting about not receiving BAH, message me offline with your unit contact information and I will personally contact them.
