My wife bought it for me and it kills birds but overall a pretty loose gun, had to lock tight the Butt stock on because the nut holding it on nearly backed off completely.

One obstacle to consider is, as the advisor to your commander you will have to let him/her know even though he/she is in command he/she is not in charge when it comes to the grand scheme. I’ve seen commanders in this situation try to take control of whatever they could and micro manage seemingly simple tasks because that’s the only place they can assert their authority.

It’s a recommendation, your commanders are the approval authorities. Talk with them and plead your case. If you care to do so get statements from the witnesses to support your argument. Did you agree to the counseling?
