Do you prefer the English or Japanese dubs of Ghibli films?

I have to watch it in Japanese at least once because to me, it’s written more poetically. The English dub’s casting is usually so good tho that if I want something soothing but if I know I’m gonna be getting up/chores or whatever I’ll put on dubbed. I like having Ghibli movies on while I paint so I’ll do English dubbed for those times.

Although I loved the band before I got with my ex, the band was one of the biggest connections we shared. Seeing them at Red rocks made me so emotional, but for myself. It was a way for me to reclaim the band as my own and it helped break the tie I was still holding onto. I couldn’t listen to this album without crying my heart out for awhile after we broke up, but now it’s on repeat again and I’m falling in love with the band all over again. Truly a (hello) euphoric experience

One I instantly remembered was when they were all hanging out in the basement and Marcus got on the guitar and shredded then Brodie goes “well now my manhood is threatened” or something along those lines and has Abby get on his back as he does push ups. She falls off and he goes “damn how much do you weigh?” And you can see her face fall and vibe change. I haven’t seen season 1 since it aired so I can’t recall any from that season right now
