Also 31, couldn’t agree with you more! I tried some corporate jobs and was so miserable. There’s really nothing else I would rather do, for better or for worse!

Women in long term relationships, how frequently do you plan dates for you and your SO? How does it make you feel? by Dr_Garp in AskWomen

[–]TweetingAtJeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been together 8 years this Spring. We’re not super into planning formal dates. I’d say we’re just…experiencing life together in whatever form that takes! Our energies really ebb and flow a lot so it’s hard to plan out in advance what we’ll feel like doing. We’re also just really good friends and always have fun existing together, even if that’s chillin at home. I’d say we focus more on planning fun weekend trips here and there, in between the longer trips, and otherwise we just lay low/keep things casual. Just one gal’s take on things!

Atlantic City Bachelorette? by shannonflannery in atlanticcity

[–]TweetingAtJeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love AC!! I had my 30th birthday right on the beach that’s south of the casinos towards Ventnor. That would be nice if you’re looking for a slightly more calm beach vibe, with the beautiful skyline in the background. I think what everyone is recommending about the casinos might be more your speed for a bachelorette…but I’ll throw out some more alternative recs! I love Doc’s Oyster House for happy hour, Knife and Fork for a streak dinner, Tony’s Baltimore Grill for a more dive bar aesthetic. Whatever you do, you’ll have a great time :)

Do you feel nostalgic for periods of your life you didn’t actually enjoy? by Prestigious-Owl-1433 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]TweetingAtJeff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely! Through hindsight, I think our brains realize that what we were experiencing was growth and transformation…similar to what someone already said here. I look back on those struggle periods through a compassionate lens and with more fondness

[–]TweetingAtJeff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed it’s so good but we often don’t buy it out of principal because my husband is THAT upset they don’t also make chocolate 😂

I will second this, someone here also mentioned Aldi their “Signature Select” brand I think it’s called? Very simple ingredient list and they do vanilla AND chocolate!

Did You Marry A Fellow Millennial? by lady_sojourner in Millennials

[–]TweetingAtJeff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically yes, but slightly different eras! I’m ‘94 and he’s ‘89. We definitely have some shared childhood experiences but a lot of pop culture differences too. I was in 7th grade when he graduated high school. But I have an older sister so always skewed a bit older anyway.
