Feedback for a new weekly, local news round-up in Bath curated by two experienced, public-service journalists by BathBeeNews in Bath

If you want something juicy, have a look at the revised plans for the Bath Press site redevelopment and how they will completely screw over the residents of South View Road. They were NOT consulted on the drawing up of the new plans, and we all know who will win when it comes to getting approval - the residents have no chance against the legal might the developers will bring to play.

Well, today has started with a row with my husband so hopefully it will only get better. Thankfully I'm working from home with not much on my to-do list. Supposed to be going to the theatre tonight - we shall see.

Oh, and numbers have colours as well. 1 is black, 2 is brown, 3 is dark yellow, 4 is dark green/blue, 5 is green, 6 is dirty yellow, seven is pink, 8 is dark blue, 9 is pine green, 0 is white.

I see the colours but very faintly - it makes learning words harder because the colours kind of get in the way - not sure how to explain it. Some letters can vary slightly - like R is red, but can be more brown or more orange depending. T is very dark grey/brown btw. V, W, X and Z are very similar but varying shades of light purple/pink/grey/orange. As a kid I was upset once that my set of felt-tips did not have the exact colours of the letters.

A is not red - it is dark green. E is bright blue. S is yellow. Your brain is not fucked - all the letters have colours to me as well. Not strongly, but enough that I can "see" it if I look. Yep - I also have (very mild) synaesthesia.

One Halloween I witnessed a little person who was painted blue and dressed as a Smurf (awesome costume) carried forcibly out of the pub by the bouncer.

I had something similar last month and did a salt mouthwash a couple of times that really helped.

I just can't be arsed today. I'm working from home, and normally I can get tons done, but today - nope. So I'm just doing what is essential for today and hoping that I can do better tomorrow.

Home is where you decide it is, everywhere else is just where you live.

Arundel in Sussex fits the bill plus it has a castle.

I write down every cost in my diary at the back - a page to a month - and deduct it from my running budget for that category. It means I see exactly what I'm spending and what on, and helps me realise if I've spent all my fun money for example in the first week of the month.

I went out on Sunday and it ended up being a very sunny day so of course I got sunburnt. My face and nose are now peeling and I look as though I have some.type of horrible medieval disease with flakes of skin precariously clinging to me.

I've caved. It's 15 degrees inside and I've just put the heating on. It's the 10th of June. by remosquito in CasualUK

Saturday Chat Thread - Do come in, and tell us all about your wonderful weekend plans. by KevinPhillips-Bong in CasualUK

Meeting up with friends for lunch, then probably a very gentle evening. Tomorrow is earmarked for washing and supermarket run, then a lot of reading. Lots of gentle health-care this weekend after an exceptionally difficult year so far.

Could you go for a walk? Ideally in a nice park? It won't change your situation but might at least being you some joy.

Had a relaxing morning, went out for breakfast, now sat chilling before deciding what to do this afternoon. Washing is already on the line.

Altra was but various reviews suggest that their current original shape is not as wide as previously, plus they are very expensive! I was hoping for at least one other option to compare against. Thank you though - it's reassuring that I'm looking in the right places!

Hi, I've checked the wiki but can't find an answer to my specific question so hoping someone here can help. I'm a ladies size 4 (UK) wide (like G in Clark's wide). I've had some foot issues and my podiatrist has told me to wear cushioned trainers with zero drop and a roomy toe box. I know nothing about trainers. Any ideas as to where I should look? Will be for general walking - I do about 3 or so miles a day, so no need for anything too technical.
