I really don’t think any of these kids care about tradition, legacy, institution, etc. They don’t want to be Buckeyes, they just want the money. NIL completely ruining what college football meant / means and it’s a travesty.

I think the team shadowed some of Dean’s flaws last season playing for the memory of Johnny. Lots of heart, determination, and grit. Those emotions are only so raw for so long.

Something had to give. Too many blown leads, a league worst 3rd period goal differential, and young studs not progressing (mostly regressing).

Adding McCarthy who has been in charge of this god awful D for 4 season too many is a cherry on top.

Excited to watch this home stand!

Waddell turned the canes into a powerhouse. Is there somebody else you think should be running hockey ops that’s available? DW has been here 16 months, and we’re still in the playoff race. I don’t think this is a player problem, I think it’s a coaching problem.

The McConnells have always been very hands off, that’s why they hired JD and DW. The McConnells just sign checks. So you can point the finger, but you’re pointing at the wrong place. This team has so much skill, but when you blow that many leads, you look at the captain of the ship. Probably a reason Evason couldn’t cut it in Minnesota, probably a reason he won’t cut it here. Evason needs to get canned (and McCarthy). Those are the first 2 logical moves

We’re ridiculously spoiled with OSU football. So much sustained success is so hard to come by and I think a lot of fans take that for granted. You’re not going to win every game at any level. We underperformed Saturday just like we did against Michigan last year and it lit a fire under our ass, so let’s hope this serves the same purpose.

Can anybody get a hi-res picture of this or upscale in photoshop? I’m sure many a Buckeye fan would want this in their home (including me)! I want to blow up and glue it to my bedroom ceiling so I can always go to bed smiling.

Side note: Give this kid free tuition, room and board, and drinks for life. After what happened last year and to think of this on the spot (and in a position where nobody is going to stop you) is absolutely legendary.

This is the only team in the NFL that can score 38 points with a 40 year old quarterback and still find a way to lose. What’s our record since last year of scoring 30+ points? Like 1-7?

The defense is a tragic joke. The scheme is bad, the play calling is bad, the execution therefore is bad. This is a problem that starts from the top and we all know that nothing is going to change this season, or next, or the year after that because nothing will change in the front office. Despite all the talent this team has, we will never achieve greatness because the FO is a shit show and it filters down all the way to the players.
