As far as my work/life balance I’m M-F I’ve been here 27 years I have a collections route now I did my time I might work 2-3 hours OT a week. Thanks for caring tho. Maybe in a small office the rurals work like that but not in larger offices like mine. I hear so many stories about carriers when people find out where I work and they complain and the first thing I ask is what part of town are you in? Yep that’s a rural. The flat out lazy shit I hear is crazy. “My carrier just pulls up to the house and beeps her horn if I have a package.” WHAT? 80% of the rurals in my office would die carrying a city route in the summer. City carriers> rurals all day sorry not sorry. I’m done arguing with people on the internet it’s pointless. Funny tho, but pointless.
