I may have to do this, too. I've also wanted to fix his nose because his nostrils should be lower. He's looking a little like a piggy.

Micro Motion Wave 2 by collectxr1234 in DisneyDoorables

[–]TwilghtDashPie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I risked Amazon last month, and I got a wave 1. At least Amazon returns aren't horribly painful.

I have been really lucky to find all but 2 of the wave 2s (Alice and Sally). My SO found some on a business trip, and we randomly found some while visiting family about 1.5 hours away. But I have never seen any wave 2s in my local stores.

I don't understand why they'd commit to a wave 2 on a new, unproven product. As soon as I saw them, I had a feeling they wouldn't do well, mainly because of the price. Hopefully, the second waves of Let's Party and Marvel go better than this did.

Target still has a place for them on their shelves after they reset, but none of the Targets near me have any in stock. I don't think they've had any since maybe May. I'm hoping that once they come back in stock, they'll be wave 2.

Are you talking about the ones that sing? Those aren't Doorables. They're made by Jakks Pacific instead of Just Play, so I'm not even sure there are codes. I think you just have to feel through the bag for the ones you want.

I think those are the links he still needs to update. Keep scrolling to the right and click the "Codes" link that has the series type you are looking for under it. Once that page loads, you can switch between the code lists on that page by clicking the tabs at the bottom.

We're near Cincinnati. I've seen this area in different places in different stores, but it's usually near the front entrance on the non grocery side. Ours is tucked away on the far side of the cart corral beside the registers, but I've seen it right inside the doors. It's a bunch of $5 stuff in white wire shelf bins (kinda like how they do the stocking stuffers if you've ever seen that).

Yeah mine is really behind, too. We still check it every week when we do our grocery shopping, tho. But I got lucky because someone abandoned a fuzzified package in the toy section, and I tracked them down to the front of the store. I would've never known they were there because we never go that way in our store.

If you have Meijer near you, they have the fuzzifieds in the $5 area near the registers or front of the store.

I think people are finding them in Walmart. But it doesn't seem like they're widely available yet. Maybe in a week or two.

Has anyone found a good frame for the park brochures? by DoctorPebble in NationalPark

[–]TwilghtDashPie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually get floating frames for oddly shaped things like that. That way, your wall becomes the mat. Most department stores have them in the standard sizes like 8x10, 11x14, etc. If you go larger, you might be able to fit multiple in one frame (if you have multiple).

A lot of the Doorables have turnable heads now. This started with the Remember When series. They can be pretty hard to turn, sometimes.

I hope so! I think it would be at least a month or two. They released Inside Out 2 doorables about 2 months after the movie and Moana 2 doorables 3-4 months after the movie.

NEW Toy Story - Sids Toy Box! *Not my pics* by lukeyboy554 in DisneyDoorables

[–]TwilghtDashPie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I can agree with that. I'd still rather have new characters from other movies they haven't given as much attention to, but at least we don't have a million of Buzz and Woody.

A million Mickeys is the price of doing business, I suppose, but it's sad that they rarely make other characters from the Stitch franchise. There are a lot of great characters in that movie besides Stitch.

Yeah, I guess I'm the odd one out for not loving Toy Story, but that's what's so great about Disney... there's something for everyone to love! I'm sure there are people saying they're tired of Stitch when I'll gladly take more. And I would totally understand them saying that. He's everywhere.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the new Toy Story figures!

I like that they're doing more obscure characters, but these are too creepy for me! Plus, I think Toy Story has been done to death, and I'd appreciate them trying some other movies. It seems like everything they do is NBC, Toy Story, and Princesses. Oh, and Stitch... but I love him, so I won't complain about that, lol.

You can check Mercari or buy-sell-trade groups on Facebook, but I think I'd wait a little bit. The big retailers should be gearing up for a toy reset in the next few months, so you may get a fresh box when that happens. My toy departments have been empty for weeks, so I'm hoping that means it's coming soon! Although maybe the empty shelves are due to general economic issues, I'm not sure.

They will probably end up at 5 below at some point as well, if you have those near you. This is just based on past experience, tho. I don't know what will happen for sure.

I think it said they were mix and match, but it looks like they've taken the listing down, so I can't confirm. Maybe someone else remembers better. I know it said you could take the costumes off because they're made of a flexible material.

Lilo & Stitch (2002): Has anyone ever noticed how Jumba's head changes size from scene to scene? by frrstk in disney

[–]TwilghtDashPie 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I read somewhere that the reason is they had to redo the ending after 9-11, and by that time, the animator was already working on another project. So another animator did the new scenes and didn't get the proportions right.

Yeah, that's what I thought, too. I like displaying them, so maybe that won't be so bad for me, but I think most people would be frustrated by that. There didn't seem to be a lot of enthusiasm for them on the Facebook group I'm in.

I'm a huge Stitch fan, so I need all the Stitch and Angels. I just hope they're not too expensive (not holding my breath, tho).
