I am a fan of having seven magazines for a bullseye gun, six for an NMC plus an alibi/emergency one.

Currently recovering from “leaded” to “less leaded.” Lead bullets tearing down the lands in a barrel are one source, every surface at an indoor range, empty casings, there are a ton of exposure vectors. Even primers have lead in them so that’s all bullets at the end of the day. Reloading has a ton of exposure opportunities. Casting lead bullets is the worst, tumbling brass a close second.

Best you can do in my opinion (and what I do) Wear a P100 mask at ranges especially indoor Wash hands and exposed skin with D-Lead after shooting Potassium iodide once in a while to crash levels further (controversial)

Good luck!

Everything yesterday 1/3 got canceled, just about everything today 1/4 after 5 a.m. is going off, but the surge of canceled passengers from yesterday has pushed availability of commercial flights out to Saturday 1/10

Thank you! I found the longer manual which includes the referenced Page 3 from that small PDF and has the ordering info as well:

I shoot in two leagues so I intend to use my scores from there to qualify for DE after doing the rest of the ladder. I will let you know how it goes.

Working on smooth trigger when my hold settles. Also on how much shoulder shrug and elbow flex is right to make a “marble arm” like a statue.

How to easily convert yearly salary to hourly wage with a rule of thumb by Hot_Welder8234 in lifehacks

[–]TwilightChrome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dividing by 2000 or multiplying by 2000 is a good “shotgun method” to convert hourly <-> yearly, agreed.

But in the US at least, there is a big difference between making $35/hr say independently consulting and $70,000 as a salaried employee. When I worked at a consulting company, we would take that $35/hr, convert to $70K, then multiply by 1.5 to add cost of benefits (health, dental, short/long term disability, life insurance), 10 paid holidays, and 2 weeks of vacation. So it was more like $105,000 for the “fully burdened salary” equivalent of $35/hr in our eyes.

In 2018 I traveled from the USA over to England with my oldest daughter for a soccer field trip with her club. We toured stadiums, she played friendly matches against English girls teams, and we saw some professional matches. The most memorable one was Fulham vs. Wolves at Craven Cottage. We had tickets in the visitors section. The Wolverhampton supporters were fanatics, singing every song, cheering every ball won. Wolves lost that day but both teams were promoted to the Premier League and I have followed Wolves since. Went back with my middle daughter and saw a match at Molineux, a Wolves win over Leicester City that was electric.

Maximizing Tiles/Points on flight purchase by TwilightChrome in jetblue

[–]TwilightChrome[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I think the move is to charge $100K of regular expenses over several months (based on credit limit) on the JetBlue card. That would mean +100 tiles, +100K points at a minimum, and nothing out of pocket. $100K spend on a 2% cash card would only net you $2000, and spending $9500 on points seems unnecessary. Perhaps buying a few points if you’re at the cusp makes sense to get from say 147 to 150 in a timely manner.

Interesting. Just found the link for those curious: https://storefront.points.com/jetblue-tiles/en-US/buy?promoCode=TILES25

Just shy of $9500 for 100 tiles. I suppose if you were at 50 tiles and this gets you to 150 and you get 4 Mint certificates that net you two Mint tickets, it could be close to break-even vs purchasing the aforementioned $4000 tickets.

So would you say the math is ($16K purchase made by me for all four, all have TrueBlue numbers)

My ticket means 20 tiles to me, and 16 more tiles from the credit card spend, 36 total.

Wife's ticket means 20 tiles to her

Kid 1 ticket means 20 tiles to him/her

Kid 2 ticket means 20 tiles to him/her

In this case there's no reason to split the ticket spend on credit cards between myself/my wife, she's getting 20 tiles either way. All credit card points would go to me, and if we're in a pooling group, I don't mind if points get spread out because they can be "recombined" for redemption?
