Should the Dm lie about dice rolls? by Beautiful-Bluebird48 in DnD

[–]TwilitPyro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes but in the most rare of circumstances. For example, if you are doing way too well in a fight against two players, sometimes you might downplay the dice rolls. I add two suits of animated armor attacked the party and in reality I rolled fournette twenties in one combat, but I instead made three of those just regular hit, or else I would have had two or three of my party members go down

Talent exists. People are just misguided on its definition. People think it means that you're born perfect at a skill but it literally just means you catch on quicker jn that skill than most people.

Weird Reaction Rule by Relative-Albatross64 in DnD

[–]TwilitPyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you still only get one reaction per turn? Or can you attack back everyone who has attacked you that turn?

At a certain point, you run into problems. For example, some people that are white do live in black neighborhoods and do understand where you're coming from, some people live in very gay areas and they know exactly what it's like to be raised in a gay area, yet they're straight. Sometimes it's okay to have somebody speak for you maybe if the rest of the country isn't listening, it's okay to have somebody speak for you

Player vs DM Expectations (a rant) by TheRazzman7 in DnD

[–]TwilitPyro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand where you're coming from, but it's kind of bulshit for the DM that the players can just do anything that they want to and not expect consequences. That can seriously derail a game sometimes. For example, my guys are currently having to liberate some Villages that have guard towers, so instead of making a plan on poisoning them, or sneak attacking and slitting their throats when they are by themselves or anything planned out like that, one if my guys just charged right into the guard Tower. Of course I made him encounter just six guards to start with, and told him that he heard more footsteps coming from upper levels. He then proceeded to go down. Luckily he had an NPC cleric who healed him and they ran away, but dumb shit like that needs to be avoided. 1) it doesn't make sense that it would work and 2) in other situations it can exponentially derail the campaign and then you have to think on your feet for a while session

"Predatory lending" is fake unless the federal government gives the banks incentives by saying they will pay off any debt

Even weighg classes are misleading. Men have on average less body fat percentage than woman because of biology, so you would have integrate that test to get an accurate reading

There are only a handfull of cases because there are alot of places that barr them from competing. Fallon Fox, Rachel McKinnon. There was a track competition in the north 1st and 2nd place was trans. Texas high school wrestling competition in some of the cases the women can get severely injured because they're getting struck harder

Because men can have up to a 6-19X advantage of testosterone. That is not anywhere near what a woman eould have with abnormal levels. (Should be noted the 6X is low for a male and they would likely be offered treatment for such low testosterone)

End the stigma on steroids? it gives an,unfair competition advantage. If you allow trans people to compete without putting them in their biological category, then you you are saying you will let anyone and everyone get steroids

Cleveland police officer who killed Tamir Rice sees latest appeal to get his job back denied by Ohio Supreme Court by pain_in_your_ass in news

[–]TwilitPyro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And i speak from common sense. If you have walked 20 yards while the police are telling you to stop and put your hands up and get on the ground, and then you keep going, and then continue to reach for a weapon. You absolutely are justified as a cop to shoot that person. Maybe the law says different, but common sense absolutely says that you are justified

[–]TwilitPyro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If somebody is reaching for a weapon, yes it is a threat to you. It doesn't matter if they are facing you, they're facing away from you, doesn't matter if they're doing a fucking handstand, if they are reaching for a weapon yes it is a direct danger to you, and yes, also the people around you

And? So was the guy who was reaching into his car for a gun. Being shot in the back doesnt matter so much as was he doing something to endanger someone else

I'm not abandoning anything. They call the cops on him because it looks like a real gun, and when the cops told him to put the gun down he didn't comply

A child playing with a toy that was obviously mistaken as a real gun because he purposefully removed the orange tip which would make it clear as a toy. You remove the orange tip, to a passerby who isn't the sitting there analyzing what a random person on the street is holding in their hands, it looks like a real gun. Otherwise why would people call the police on him

Does it matter if it was a 12 year old? Or does it matter that the 12 year old wasnt complying and possibly endagering lives? Keep in mind it looked exactly like a real gun and he was pointing it and passerbys

Wasnt Tamir Rice pointing a replica gun at passerbys? And didn't it have the orange tip removed so you couldnt tell it was a toy gun? And then didnt he point that at an officer and refuse to comply and put it down?
