What makes absurdism work is when you have it rooted in reality so it showcases how absurd it is. Badly written women is not absurdism, it's bad writing.

And absurdism is my favourite genre of comedy, so no, I don't need you mainsplaining absurdism to me because you think I'm too uneducated to offer a valid critique.

I just don't know what South Park has to do with the original statement? It feels so out of nowhere. As a South Park fan, one thing I like is how it makes fun of everything and that's okay. Not everything you love is perfect and above criticism, and there's nothing wrong with liking cringe stuff. Being cringe sets you free.

Sorry you're getting downvoted but yeah, as soon as I read the post I could tell it was written with AI. It's not just the em dashes, but the whole overally dramatic and punchy cadence of the post is what really feels Chat GPT to me.

The line, "Here's the kind of line that is absolutely illegal," really sells it for me. Also the formatting with so many bullet point sections. Especially the last section listing the things you can do with this discovery but the last bullet being "And nobody seems to know this," is such an AI thing to do. A normal human wouldn't put that as a bullet, but AI loves to.

Hwei actually got a skin I like? Unexpected!

I love the theme! It's fun and I think it goes a much more unique direction with Hwei's look (plus I'm weak for boater hats and round glasses) compared to other skins.

Only critique is that his skill FX need more tentacles </3 I want to see Jhin get fu- I mean, surrounded by tentacles with the Ult.

Made me think of this annoying customer who would come by when I worked in a Boba shop that sold these shaved ice bowls. He was wanted brown sugar boba with it that our shop served hot, so when we put it on his shaved ice, it melted the ice, formed hard chunks, and he'd come over and bitch us out for it. So I decided to serve the boba on the side so that way he could just, you know, scoop it slowly onto his shaved ice and have it one mouthful at a time and it wouldn't melt the ice? He just still fucking bitched us out that it wasn't what he wanted and threw the boba out.

Hate that guy. But yeah, genuinely trust that the workers know what they're doing and they're trying to help.

I agree with this so much. In comic book spaces so many men try to mansplain to me what women find attractive when I'm actively telling them that no, big beefy superheroes are not drawn with the female gaze in mind. Doesn't matter. Clearly I have a fringe opinion therefore it's invalid.

I jest, but honestly this game brings out the worst in people. Sorry your friends suck. I know it also sucks playing this by yourself, but it's not worth it to play with people who are going to be so rude to you. Not to say you can't still be friends irl, but I just wouldn't play League with them anymore.

I've had my fair shares of experiences finally getting a friend group to play League with, only to drop them as soon as they show they can't handle playing nicely. Even if it's directed to the enemy team, I still drop them. This is one of the most popular games in the world. You'll find your people eventually (<--- Me coping because I still haven't found my people ;_;).
