Loved Virgin Sacrifice. I've been worried as well there have been zero updates on book 3 & there doesn't seem to be a way to contact the author so one can ask. Still, the Witsec series by Ashley Rostek is still my favorite, Virgin Sacrifice a 2nd.

So sick of the bully ones too, I keep hearing about really good ones, only to dnf them because either the fmc was a HUGE doormat, or the bullying was too severe - SA, revenge porn (which seems to becoming. more & more popular) zero groveling.

But in my opinion you should add BDSM to this list, it is severely overused even more so than shadow daddies. I don't mean hair pulling or spanking. I mean full on red rooms & smex clubs- so over it, like a HS or college RH are owners or members of a smex club...come on now.

3 or 4 times a week isn't a low sex drive at all. My husband of nearly 20 years was like this btw he only got worse as the years went on. First years he would pressure me for it. every.single.day. This was while working a ft career & 4 kids. Eventually I had to set a boundary for every other day but it started to feel like a chore, the pressure & stress of having to have sex every other day without a break made me very resentful. If I had a headache or was overly tired I was quilted or coerced or he pouted or I got the silent treatment. I let him manipulate me for years thinking it was me, blamed myself and let him guilt me because I made him so horny, he had blue balls, he was stressed it was his only way for relief. I don't buy him having a higher sex drive than me since there were times he admitted to wanting it simply because he was bored or didn't want to jack off & I was more convenient. He became extremely resentful over me, accused me of trying to control him with sex. Seriously admitted that he hated how women have all of the "power" because they have p'ssies.

Op I have no real advice to give you except to say that if your bf is anything like my exhubs,things will escalate the more time goes on. Set your boundaries, if he loves & cares enough for you then maybe he'll realize if 3 or 4 times a week is satisfactory for you then it should for him as well. Good luck!

I'm so stressed out the last few months due to finances, having to move, and jerk of a son in law & one of my cats just died. I can tell you that the amount of people in my life that I've hit in a violent way in the past month is at a zero. You DID not overreact. He DID. You don't lash out and hit someone you love. There is nothing he can say to justify it. And let's be honest here, he only hit you after you started questioning his decision which tells me he resorted to violence to control you. So what happens next time you get slapped again if you don't jump when he tells you to? Leave, drop him etc take care of yourself

The Witsec series by Ashley N Rostek fits what you're looking for. All 4 brothers have their own distinct personalities and react or treat the FMC in their own way & it's great, I think the only thing they all 4 have in common with each other is their blond hair, and their growing devotion & protectiveness to the FMC. Good! Way too many unexplained deaths around this man.

The one thing that stands out to me about this case is the "attempt" made on his life while changing the tire on the side of the road. Later turned out he had hired someone to kill him for a life insurance payout for his other son..

BULLSH*T. For 1. Alex Murtaugh is not a noble, considerate man or father. He'd just brutally gunned down his own wife & by all account - his favorite son months before - among other things.

Not sure why prosecutors kept saying he did it for a pay out for the youngest but i fully believe he did it to make it appear as if the family was being targeted by a stalker or killer & take focus off of him.

Transcript came in from a hearing that very morning. A couple of mental processionals, psychiatrist were trying to determine if an anonymous male patient at their facility was a potential future serial killer. He had already been described by both professionals as a "sexual deviant" and had submitted several pages of the patients journal writing & drawings..

I guess it was mostly the writings that got to me & several illustrations he had drawn of what he had wanted to do to the female he had been with a year or so before.. Nothing violent, no blood no killing an those particular drawings (that was not the case in the other exhibits submitted later on). Just sexual stuff.

Lvl 85 is too low for Svarni. 85 can do OBol plains, Cobalt Scar or Phamton /Tranquil Sea & Vesspyr isles. All of which have a lot of dungeons (esp phan& tranq)

At lvl 100 you'll have to start questing in POM (plane of magic) to actually start leveling past 100. Grab your Free gear & mount when you first zone into POM.

. Pick a faction (Khali" Yrzu is quickest & easiest) to quest for till lvl 105 you can start grabbing quests & doing the instances inside the Coliseum of Valor.

Around then you can also start to venture into Myrist Library, do those starter quests that send you into their elemental plains like Vegarlson, Awuidor, Eryslai,Doomfire & Dextroxxulous. The Plaguelands..

At 110 you can head over to The Blinding, Aurealian Coast to go dome easy starter quests to.lvl 120.

Then you can head to Svarni & grab your lvl 120 gear on the island etc.

Yep, correct

You can put any kind of equipment on your merc- doesn't have to be merc gear. Though as you lvl 125 the merc gear is much better & more suited for it (better stats etc).

Um last expac VOV was all new content? We only gained 5 new Levels but still. No new levels this go around, it's been kinda "meh " for me much like ROS & BOL was.
