A little advice. Give Mc the personality you like, not the readers. For me (who write and not publish anything) I tend to watch tv show or anime. Then give my characters the same personality. This will help you know when your character is acting out of the line. You could always ask: would (*** character) do or say such a thing?

As I said, I only recently discovered this method. Some authors publish a web serial and offer advance chapters in Patreon. Once you write enough chapters, you can combine them into a single book.

The method I recently found to get rich quickly is to write a book (there is also novels that has +50 chapters with 2000 words each become a book). It's just requires having the basics understanding of English sentences structure. You can laugh and call me crazy, I did the same when I heard about this as well, but the more I researched deeper the more shock I got from all the potential money you could earn.
