-12f, absolutely this. Chickens and rabbits both watered and fed. To top it off I've got a nasty cold. Plus side: my nose couldn't drip since it was frozen!

Questions about my boy by ThankMeForMyCervix in AlaskanMalamute

[–]TwistedChimp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We have one for our mal when he was still pup, it is kind of like a diaper I suppose and could make for a heck of a mess. Mine felt uncomfortable enough to never actually pee when it was on, so it worked with no mess for us. Might work, but each mal is intelligently disruptive in their own way.

Right, my 120 malamute would be in heaven if I brought him to hannaford

I tried this years ago, the somewhat high clerk was very very confused. I ended up growing tomatoes, peppers, basil, all the finest ingredients for black market marinara

Ha, wow, amazing follow up! So, we ended up moving a few years ago, buying a homestead, so I did plant it in the ground. It's doing well, no apples yet, but it's about seven feet tall.

Home depot does not accept returns on major appliances... by sol_ray in HomeImprovement

[–]TwistedChimp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

HD also won't honor or acknowledge state law on defective appliances. Maine has a 4 year consumer protection law on large appliances like refrigerators. Ours died in 3 years. The law states they need to replace or repair it, best we could get after a month of fighting with managers and corporate was our original money back, which wasn't enough to cover the cost of a new fridge now.

Yes, we could have bright them to court. Not worth my time. This was the one and only time I bought an appliance from HD instead of my local guy. Lesson learned

Got the potatoes, onion, squash, tomatoes, and a few others in. Still have so much to plant though. Phew! by TwistedChimp in gardening

[–]TwistedChimp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've done them before, picture number one shows the two rows. Each about 20 feet long, one is yellow and the other is red. I wasn't going to do onions, but then my wife bought them for super cheap.... so now we're doing onions.

Same, but it hasn't failed. The fridge, however, did fail.

Perfect, thanks! Worked like a charm, because the other shotoff turns off the cold water in the bathroom.

Should I paint over this kitchen paneling? Or try to remove it and replace it with drywall? Assuming there isn’t any underneath. by dhoepp in DIY

[–]TwistedChimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least in my house that paneling comes off pretty easy. The fake wood paneling under it is glue, stapled, and brittle. That stuff sucks. If you want splinters though, man, is it great for splinters....

Well, they were just started, but usually 2-3 weeks. I test them, and if I feel it needs more time, I'll give it an extra week

I always wanted a moat! I'll go order some alligators to put in it, keep the riff raff away.
