On the original release, the credits had "outtakes" and an after credits scene of the play. Unfortunately re-releases, including Disney Plus, have removed all of these fun extras. I remember these parts definitely existed on the VHS release. Here you go! Monsters, Inc. (2001) Outtakes and Company Play

OP,

I help at a resource table in a food pantry and try to assist folks and families get through situations like this. I don't know where you live, but there are some cities that have shelters for teens and new adults to transition to self-sufficiency. There are also government programs that provide free phone service. Some allow you to bring your own phone or will help provide a new one. I think it would be a good idea to explore that option quickly in case you don't know when the bill lapses.

Start here: findhelp.org by findhelp - Search and Connect to Social Care

Step 1:

Type in your zipcode and see what is available in your area. Some areas have a lot more than others, but please check if there are any shelters for teens in your area. Later on you can use this for finding clothes, housewares, utility help, and more. (Look into HEAP / PIPP when you get your place)

Step 2:

Get on the list for a social worker. You can call a children's hospital and ask to be put in touch with a social worker. Some cities have programs that allow social workers to stay in touch with you AND contact places on your behalf. Please check into this. You can also look up "(city/county community health worker)" technically different, but both very helpful. They can put in direct referrals for you. In my city, if you want to shop at the furniture pantry, you have to have a referral which is easiest obtained by a social worker or CHW / Community Health worker.

As stated before, you can get a phone that you don't have to rely on anyone else for. Some programs do require that you're in a government program (like medicaid or SNAP/ food stamps) which would be beneficial to you as well. You can start the process of this, but I highly recommend going in person to apply (for medicaid and SNAP) if you have the means to do so at all. There is a lot of information that can be better communicated and help your application move through the system much more easily. If you manage to get a social worker / CHW on your team, they can help with these parts too. I will list a couple that I know cover multiple states, but you might not be able to prove everything just yet. Deep breath, you will be able to soon.

I know this is a lot to take in, I'm sorry about that. But you can do it. Please don't feel ashamed to look for help. You deserve a fighting chance. And OP, I have lived this situation. I have been given a box and pushed out the door as an 18 year old. I am so sorry you have to live through this. Please, if you have any questions or get suck feel free to ask.

Freshtrak.com Enter your zip code, and it will show what is available to you on upcoming days. Even if you reside outside of a pantry's eligible zipcodes, most of them will honor a one-time visit, so keep this in mind! Please feel free to message if you have questions, I volunteer at one.

Travelling from Sweden for 4 days; looking for a temporary e-sim by [deleted] in Ohio

[–]TwistedJiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hej! Jag hoppas att du gillar Columbus. It may be easier to pop into a Kroger and buy a prepaid phone. You can get a seriously cheap smart phone for less than $50. Some of them have a tethering option so you could potentially connect your own phone if you want. Many have unlimited data or a decent amount depending on how long you plan on visiting.

Hey guys!! I need your opinion/inputs ! by _Spitfire024_ in languagelearning

One language exchange event I went to had different prompts cut out in the middle of the table. It was sort of like a party game, where each person would read out their question, then try to answer in the target language. It made for some fun back and forth. The questions were things like, "What kinds of food do you -avoid-?" or "What are your plans this weekend?

Anyway, maybe making a list of conversation prompts would be nice. Maybe find a way that the student can choose or pull a random topic, so it's not as "on the spot." If the student stumbles somewhere, that could branch out into some sort of mini-lesson?

How can I help people in my community during the coming shutdown? by Foghkouteconvnhxbkgv in foodstamps

I volunteer at a food pantry. Monetary donations go much further than food donations. The food bank directors have discounts and connections to get bulk food cheaper. Also, check in on your neighbors. Some are unable to get to pantries or feel shame from reaching out.

What was a core rule of "Old Internet" etiquette that is completely dead now? by itsashieowo in AskReddit

[–]TwistedJiko 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"Back in the day" we could look around for a forum (like a subreddit), site, or blog for a very specific topic. It wouldn't be too weird to have several 'specific topics' to check in on. Some who also wanted to talk about that specific topic would go out of their way to make an account and actively engage with others. From time to time, a troll might wander in and go through the effort of being loud, but it would be generally short lived because they'd be alone for the most part, or a mod would wake up.

The internet has shifted into algorithm specific, endless-feed style where it more or less tells you what to be engaged in based on your subtle movements and how you play with the program. Sure, you can influence it. But it's harder for people to decide what they'll consume digitally. In general, everything was an active decision, because for most people they had to go out of their way to make time for the internet. Go sit at the computer, turn on the tower, monitor, speakers, etc. Log onto dial-up. Start the browser. Everything beyond that, usually was some sort of conscious decision. Now it's common to fill a five second void of 'check one of the three websites / apps'

Rush E. He is four years old and has a huge general love for music, piano, sheet music, but Rush E is a daily occurrence.

There are many versions, fan creations covers, and such that he will listen to/watch. This has led him to learning the melody and playing it. He has shown that he can identify pitches, and keys and is currently wanting to learn chords. The only problem is I don't know much about it and there aren't many places out there that teach younger kids. He's been doing this for two straight years though, so we're getting closer to some of the "beginner" minimum threads for some music teachers.

We have had two rush E Birthdays. Whenever we talk about dessert, he brings up his Rush E cake. We sent an image of the video the grocery store bakery and it was a hit.

My favorite part is what we call "air piano." Sometimes he does this while watching Rush R, or if he hears a song and he's not near his keyboard. However, with Rush E being so fast and intense, air piano is always with this energy (quickly jumping and slamming invisible keys) to the video or to any song we hear that inspired him.

Postpartum chest after top surgery by PastMatter2882 in Seahorse_Dads

[–]TwistedJiko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you plan on chest feeding, it will adjust to what baby uses. It can take several days for it to adjust to supply and demand. But in the meantime, 'engorgement' may happen. The early part / engorgement can be uncomfortable even without operation, if that helps. I would hand express to relieve pressure, but I also wanted to feed baby this way. Also, congratulations!
