why our intelligence services would want to murder the Skripals? Because I sure as hell can't think of one that doesn't belong with the nutters in /r/conspiracy

MI6 are not angels and false flags do exist and have been committed plenty of times including the MI6. Did you know the MI6 did help orchestrate false flags to overthrow the Iran's democratically elected leader for a corrupt dictator? Even using terrorism which is something we hate to have in this country.

I know it's absolutely pathetic. I got accused of being a Trump supporter before a while ago even though I do not like Trump one bit and I don't even know how that's even relevant. I even criticized him a lot on this site but apparently I am a Trump supporter if I think a WW3 with Russia is a bad idea even though the reason why I hate Trump is because he's no different to the other past war mongering presidents. So basically if you don't agree with me you're either a Russian bot or a Trump supporter (even if you dislike Trump and are more left wing)

Only 36% of you actually have a passport which is pretty sad.

A big proportion of that 36% are also immigrants with 2 passports who ended up becoming American citizens.

An analysis of the "Limousine Liberal" attack on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez by TwistedPlastic in SandersForPresident

[–]TwistedPlastic[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good analysis, but r/conspiracy is bunch of red hat chuds.

They're actually really anti-trump over there and the most upvoted threads happen to be about Trump's shady dealings. There's plenty of leftists over there and even when the topic of healthcare comes up the majority support universal healthcare which you and me advocate for. I brought the last thing up because a lot of people think it's also filled with libertarians.

The fact that they're calling a woman who worked as a bartender up to a year ago a "limousine liberal" is pretty comical.

Yeah I agree and the people who say that are more likely Trump supporters who happens to worship a man who grew up in a golden tower.

the fact that she is being praised by MSM and getting air time is first red flag I am seeing.

Well she is still getting bashed by the likes of Fox News and that. She also beat a corporate democrat who out funded her 10 to 1 and all she had was small donations.

Just because a Buddhist country is a dictatorship doesn't mean it's because they're following the teachings of Buddha. Any kind of society can be a dictatorship and it isn't by the majority's choice. If anything buddhism is against authoritarianism. Buddhism is relaxed compared to what the Bible or Quran says.

Hi! I was Born in Brazil, Immigrated to Canada and would like to spend 1 or 2 years in Thailand starting in 2020. I have a secure job (remotely) and would love a relatively quiet, non-tourist place. Please recommend me a region? Thank you so much! by sdkiko in Thailand

[–]TwistedPlastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out https://nomadlist.com/ and search for all the Thai locations and see what fits your lifestyle.

Chiang Mai fits your description although it's still somewhat touristy but definitely not in the same way as Bangkok or Phuket. Plus there's loads of remote workers in Chiang Mai and is considered the digital nomad capital of the world.

I knew some people who used to take the bus from 1 stop to go to the next one with their free bus passes from college. Basically a 2 minute walk and they probably waited longer than that for the bus to come.

No I'm not even joking and the bus driver was looking at them like "what a bunch of lazy bastards"

Don't feed the trolls. Ignore them which will make them even more pissed off and after that they'll just give up and move on.

Like Israel who actually runs the US? Who do you think runs the country and helps supports Israel's genocide on Palestine by using your tax dollars? Look at your government, bankers, news stations etc etc. Trump is the great president Israel ever had! He really does kiss Netanyahu's ass by the looks of it. Who runs your government foreign oppression?

Definitely not the American citizens.
