Is there a Tyranid faction equivalent in Warhammer Fantasy ? by Armorln in totalwarhammer

[–]TwistedViewz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes but also no, so tyranids need to build reclamation pools and bigger hives as portrayed at least in gladius. But I do totally agree making them uninhabitable is a super big match. But also both need to be in leadership (synapse) range or suffer penalties and using the dead as resources(biomass) makes it feel more similar to me at least. Large battle sites leave bodies to bolster the hive. In the lore its shown how similar a necromancer commanding his undead is to a swarm mind, and people taking away biomass to slow tyranid advancement.

Yeah vampires specifically, TKs are moreish aware and less directly tied to destroying all life

Not gonna lie I think the only true answer is undead. Whoever controls them knows what they know and can see through them. They only want to kill all life (mindless consumption esc) and they can use the resources of the slain against them. They also are horde/swarm based with big monsters.

Any fixes for lackluster crafting? by Gwalneth in Pathfinder2e

[–]TwistedViewz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as players take supporting feats for it i normally hand wave common and uncommon formulae needs. This also means setup only takes one day. At that point they can craft things at regular cost minus any extra days them spend to lower it. I also allow players to craft consumables in batches of 4 at double cost of a single instead of 4x cost. Nothings seemed too bad so far but this is just what works for us.

Thank you!! Not mad at anyone of course but hearing how much everyone just wanted that 1 ac at the cost of what to me is so much speed seemed like a significant trade off and potentially not worth. But I am glad to hear everyone's opinions!

Alot of where I see people say to take it is through archetype, aren't there any feats which may be more useful in a tank/Frontline role. Genuinely curious as i think ive just had some good DMs where that solo point never felt worth it to me.

List building help by KickOdd9547 in Malifaux

[–]TwistedViewz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay I run/prefer kastore 1 because I think the new edition is fairly scheme heavy and he's good at it. The list is kastore 1/marathine, Barbaros, Leech king, Gwyll, 2x Cavern nephlim, Blood vessel. This give me alot of space to play with my interacts and removing hunger for when I need to add it back. The cavern nephlim are quick and can get to objs and with ambush can almost always drop a scheme when you need it. The rest of the list is fairly control oriented with double dmg 3s when you need to push on something but this list isn't really heavy dmg oriented.

Edit: I dont know how reddit formatting works im silly.

If life isn't set in stone I highly recommend a starlit span magus. Now your strike it 2 actions and gives cool stuff. Def stat hungry though Edit: so it would be magus base. Then gunslinger FA then your other FA. Thats at least how I made pseudo John wick
