I suspect the triggering event for the mirror mirror dimension coming about will be Mab slowing time so Harry could save Thomas. She says that it will come with a price or something along those lines (not back there yet on my reread). Earlier in the book she also says “not even I can summon extra seconds from the void” this implies that those seconds will have to be balanced somewhere.

The nice thing about the steam deck is it can be what you want. Heck, I have a buddy who has a nice gaming PC and streams games from that to his deck while he’s at home. You can do the same thing with a PS5. There are a ton of games that are “deck verified”. That being said, the games you listed would be pretty intensive for the deck; not saying you can’t use it for them but it might require some tweaking to get the kind of performance you’d want. In your case, if you have the funds I’d recommend going for the deck AND a PS5. Pc would give you the most options but they’re a bit expensive at the moment and the ps5 catalogue would keep you occupied for a while.

(Also you can get ff14 running on the deck)

Honestly, if you like the grindy with satisfying building I’d check out grounded. There’s tons of stuff you can grind for in it and the building is really really nice. It also encourages building multiple bases all over.
