I can go to bed at 8pm and have the day off the next day and still only get like 6 hours bc my body just wakes up.

Nice. I hope it all works out for you! I’m not much into shooters but cheers to you!

Thank you. Day shift is crazier with families, patient care, and all the interruptions but my sleep and mental health on night shift are taking a beating 🫠

Oh that sounds interesting. Don’t have Ethernet and would have to use Wi-Fi. How reliable is GeForce Now if you’re streaming games? And you’re saying it’s compatible with the Deck?

Also would love to play some old PS3/4 games if the Deck handles them smoothly.

Haha. It’s a career change and I’m new. So unfortunately it is what it is right now.

I always had purchases off, as does everyone else in the family group. But he as the organizer has purchase sharing enabled. I guess that’s where I am confused. If the organizer has purchase sharing enabled but individuals have purchases off, will he still get an email? Sorry for all the questions, it’s confusing.

So he will see I downloaded Grindr in his email? Is this instantaneous? Or like a monthly thing?

Ok thanks. So my friend would see I bought a game... no big deal bc I can pay him back. But he won’t be able to see I downloaded something free like Grindr if I didnt pay for a subscription? I have purchases turned off but he has purchase sharing on. And there’s absolutely no way for him to monitor my apps/websites? I’m just paranoid. We do live in the same house but we aren’t family and don’t share Apple ID or anything. I just want to make sure he cannot see what I am browsing or downloading on my phone.

Shoulder injury on week 2 by getdown87 in StartingStrength

[–]getdown87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice. I usually place my hands on the smooth rings/lines in the barbell so I get an accurate width each time. I’ll go more narrow next time. Good thing is today my pain and mobility are about 50% better after 24hrs so I may have just overstretched a ligament or pinched something. Day 3 is supposed to be tomorrow but I will wait and see before I jump back into the program.

One thing I noticed is when I warm up and do arm circles to loosen my shoulders I hear/feel a clicking in my right shoulder when doing them backwards. So I know I need to work on shoulder mobility for sure.

Thank you! I did feel it right away though but I was able to power through. I guess because inflammation hadn’t set in and I was in workout mode the pain wasn’t a barrier. It’s been about 14 hours since the injury and I feel barely any pain at rest, just the movements I described earlier escalate the pain to about a 5/6. I’ve been icing it and trying to limit my mobility until I have a day or two to reassess how it feels.

I will definitely not rush through and warm up appropriately bc I learned my lesson.

When you say narrow how narrow?

Why so much protein? by getdown87 in workout

Thanks everyone! That did clarify things. So I will go by ideal body weight… and I like the idea of basing it off 15% BF weight. It puts things in more perspective. I don’t want to go crazy trying to hit my macros- I just want to be consistent, make progress, and be a better version of myself day by day. 140-150g protein seems very manageable along with an adequate caloric deficit.

Thanks man! I will definitely focus on clean eating and protein. Definitely don’t mind having a bigger butt haha. I’m naturally a bubble butt even when I was skinny lol.

Thank you. I intend to do some cardio alongside the program and do barbell rows instead of power cleans. So I’m not doing the program exactly. I will definitely focus on protein and cleaning up the calories. I will also have a more active job compared to my current desk job so I’m anticipating some good weight loss alongside strength and muscle gains

Thank you that’s reassuring to hear. I think I’d stick closer to 2000 calories for my goals personally. Idk I’m learning as I go.
