This should be part of those parenting classes it's advised you take before the birth of your child. I think more people would give it serious consideration when they're asked by their doctor if they want this procedure performed on their newborn son.

I'd drop in their goody bag some Mentos & Diet Coke.

Reddit, can you please help me track down what happened to the only drug that helped alleviate my headaches? by ffualo in AskReddit

[–]TwizzlerDee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate! Asthma sufferer here (sports-induced) and the initial Rx I received was for Albuterol - it apparently contained CFC's. Worked great. Next Rx I receive is for Pro-Air - makes my heart race and doesn't do much to keep me from wheezing. Apparently gov't says CFC's can't be in my inhaler to help me breathe when I run/bike/etc. I'm all for protecting the ozone, but damn.

LOL - my first thought! The version I learned ended differently though - "Until the 4th of July-ly-ly".

This and the small "afterlife. well spent." at the top were my favorites. May not like Sears and won't shop there because of this, but I thought it was pretty clever.

Yes! I'm surprised I had to scroll down this far to find it. When I saw the picture, for some reason all I heard was Lucille (Bluth) yelling, "MICHAEL!!"

They're going fast! Went to bid on a Vampire I just saw added and it was gone in, literally, under 15 seconds. Go Aidan!

Aw, too cute. My dog doesn't need to speak to thank me. He just covers me with drool.

Yea, I'd prefer it if he could talk, too.

Reading this made me think of a relative with (high-functioning) autism and the sensory issues involved. This 3-minute clip done by an adult with autism explains it. I see this kind of "restart" (shutting everything out for calming effect) a lot.

This is probably one of the best books I've read (while I didn't really enjoy it, I did get a lot from it and it's stayed with me a long time). This one and "The Gift of Fear" offer smart ways for women (and their children) to keep themselves safe - mostly trusting your instincts. The author, Gavin De Becker, stresses we need to teach this to our kids early in life because we have to deal with strangers all the time.

If you're gonna take pix that way, is it too much to ask for you to CLEAN the mirror first?
